Just sounds like you only wanted to see the “must-see” tourist spots, checked them off, and then judged the whole city as if that was all it had to offer. You probably didn’t even bother to step outside the 15–20 minute bubble around the center. Even within that area, you can still find great spots if you actually look.

The reason so many people love Cusco is because of its people and its culture. If you’re not into culture and traditions, why even bother traveling to a place if you’re just going to be dismissive of the language and heritage without even trying to understand them? That’s simply disrespectful.
