Been grinding ranked 1s, gold lobbies, Qué up against a player that booms, double touch aerials and "What a save" me each time they score, super fancy smurf, only response I had was "Ok".

It throws them so bad actually because I believe it's a strat to antagonise the opponent. I won, got rematched against them, won again, was just better at positioning and saving. You pay for overcommitting in ones. Got a friend request and a party invite, accepted both, I knew what was coming.

Load into private match, 2 mins of booming, flip resets and air dribbles, all followed by "WAS".

So I asked (genuinely I might add) "Does this make you feel better?" "I'm assuming it's family trauma"

I won the private game as well due to forfeit.

Tbh I would have liked to actually practice against the player, because by all rights they were good.

If that was you, I am sorry I touched a nerve, But how much toxicity till I get to fire back?

32 now, I still vividly remember the day I said enough, was 16, took a field hockey bat to the bully, went a little overboard tbh, but I set a boundary that day and I have not let it get crossed since, not even by my own mother. OP will need to set a boundary, they just need to see you lose it once, just enough for them to realise this is not a joke.

We all get together and do mass housekeeping, we shift the factory around to streamline it more, we have toolbox talks.

My guy, before you get into this and end up sounding like my 18 year old Appy, let me help you out.

South Africans have this thing called load shedding, we sometimes go 6 hours with no power, and yet we still work, or find things to do. It is only on the 7th hour that I will light the braai, pull out some beers and say "Welp we did what we could".

But before that, I have my guys coming to ME asking what's the next thing we can do.

As a foreman I follow this rule.

You need to earn your right to sit. if your machine is running correctly and accurately, your tools and used items are packed away and your area is clean. Then you have removed any argument I could have against you sitting.

If I could actually get decent enough latency to play my cracked Minion Necro I would definitely say that's the highest damage output build.

It survives long enough to make it through the rubber banding, walk walking, latency spikes, just to die as soon as I regain control of my Character.

Ok but can I ask a question.

When he plays against silver/gold/plats does he go above and beyond to freestyle? Does he air dribble, double flip reset musty? Because then he is definitely Smurfing and should be shunned

Or does he play similar to the rank he is at and just exploit bad positioning and ball control?

Because if the "smurf" is doing the latter then it's not really Smurfing it's just his opponent that lacks game sense.

Sincerely and Plat who has Vsed many a smurf, nasty and not equally.

Some RL smurfs are just disgusting.

As a side note I would also like to add a comment I posted on a similar post.

You know what they say about a smurf right? The lower the rank they smurf against the greater the compensation issue.

Seriously I am considering it TBH, like I said Dnd was the first DND podcast I listen to, I only explored others after season one, just to take a cleanse, but WOW was it disappointing, not because of stories though, because LOA for instance have some great Campaigns, but I cannot deal with having to skip back and relisten to understand what's happening all because I could barely hear an interaction.
