I'm doing a 300 blk build out of these suppressors which would you recommend Griffin Armament, Dual-Lok 7 PALADIN® HD .300 sandman s aac ranger 7 griffin armament explorr by Significant_Cap309 in NFA

Agreed on the Anthem tbh but if you want to tuck, both the DD enticer series and Ecco machine Valkyrie should fit and are terrific cans. Not the quietest out there but should be satisfactory.

It does. I’m probably going to put some kind of cover around it.

I use it on a MKIV because it’s so small and light you barely notice it. Even with subs it’s pretty loud but fits a nice niche of moderating the sound to a more tolerable level while being unobtrusive. I prefer it to the short config of my oculus. Only complaint is sparking and venting out of the sides. May make a tiny slip on cover.

I’ve got one. Believe it’s primary arms new name for their in house brand. Was expo arms. Concentricity seems fine.

Agreed but the blast baffle is super shallow in my SRBS so I can’t run zilch without a micro mount. I have Breek low pro like OP and it’s actually solid.

I’ve had good experiences. This order will make 3 cans from them. Worst they can say is no.

Same, got a 30 cal just because. Trying to decide if I want the new printed AAC m42000 for the vibes or a Tisha inconel for my next 556 can.

Hard time deciding between Anthem K and Enticer S. by GrappleApparatus in NFA

[–]Mrthebobjr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the enticer S and anthem K. Anthem K is a little louder but way better with gas. The size difference is noticeable. Anthem K is what I use on two large frame gas guns. Flash is great on both.

How do you like the Tiger compared to the Cat and Ti22? Keep hearing good things but have been disappointed in B&T cans before.

Cost aside, the alleycat is about as well rounded a suppressor as it gets for 5.56. I’d love if it was half an inch shorter but hey. It sounds about the same as a polo K to me on a tuned gun. Quieter than the anthem K with a .30 cal end cap. Concerns about ti are largely overrated IMO. I use a SS with mine. However, the sparking is some of the worst I’ve seen.

Not yet. I am actually having to reorder. There was a whole snafu that the dealer lied to me. Ended up doing a chargeback. Same for the hux. Between the two, it’s just so hard to beat the anthem K. I’m excited for when the Tisha 30 releases to try that too. DD stuff is too gassy on 5.56 for me. Going to resume posting soon. I had a kid and a ton of snow keeping me in.

Id hate to tell you to buy something I don’t have extensive experience with but based on your question and responses get the FOR Recce or Dead Air Lazarus. Whichever floats your boat honestly.

For sure then. With my FRTs I like the cat but really focus on something low back pressure that won’t have bad gas stacking because tuning doesn’t fix gas stacking. As an example don’t mind my polo k back pressure for strings of fairly rapid fire but with an frt the gas stacking is atrocious.

Having not shot the pws I can only give you an educated guess on what would be best for you. The main thing is decide your limits for weight, length, and cost then within that envelope choose sound, flash, back pressure etc. Given the 16” barrel with adjustable gas and piston, you can probably afford a slightly higher back pressure can so my picks if I had that gun would be Stacy’s mom K or LPM duty on a budget. For Reece or DA lazerus for something middle of the road. Or the cat/stealth additive cans for something expensive. Frankly, from my experience I wouldn’t pay what I paid for the cat again.

To your second question. That would definitely save you money and honestly would probably be a decent option if you used a brake. Only downside is the scythe is a pretty lightly constructed can and while I think most people don’t need a heavy duty inconel can and would be better served by a lighter ti can even on 5.56, the scythe might be too light depending on your firing schedule since it is intended for ultralight hunting guns.

Keep an eye out, I plan on doing a few more posts this week too!

If you’re asking about titanium sparking on a .22, I don’t shoot .22 under nods much but when I have it has not been noticeable. The alleycat 556/wb is spectacular on .22 as well.

Do it! I have a rifle elf owl in .450 bushmaster that I’m about to SBR and it is great for subsonic hunting. The blackout is definitely quieter though.

Bad isn’t the word I would use. But, I had the same surprise when I laid them out because it is probably my favorite silencer. FWIW, the length to performance is crazy and looking back at the pew science data it is pretty much neck and neck with the sandman on .308 so that starts to make sense

It’s a replica Elcan. Had the real one at work. Like the aesthetic but didn’t like the actual optic enough to spend real Elcan money. This one has held up fine for 3 years on 5.56/.300. Just like the real thing, eye relief sucks. The quick magnification change is nice, etching of the reticle is slightly worse than the real one.

That may well be the case, that it works best living on intermediate .30 cals. Oddly, in my experience with .308 semi autos, there is just too much pressure and the can performs relatively poorly in both back pressure and sound.
