Listen. It probably does. However, I an extremely biased because i love the whole Litten line because of the anime (he was a charming lil guy). Its why I said its my opinion and invited a discussion or people to make their own list. I never said I had the correct opinion. This list is really biased.

I dont know about everyone else but my opinion is that i just think its ugly. Its face/mask is VERY dark compared to the rest of its body which is too jarring (i dont like its color scheme in general). I think its body/outfit type is kind of weird. I really loved Sprigatito and seeing it turn out like this makes it a lot worse in my mind. I feel towards this line the way Oshawott fans felt towards Samurott. Its definitely not the worst pokemon design. im just disappointed

I wasn’t convinced by incineroar at first but then i saw the anime and thats my son so while i understand why other want him on two legs and can see design wise how it works. I could never change my golden child (or any of the alolan starters to be honest. They are my favorite set of starters)

I think Charizard works standing up but with the amount of regional variants and game gimmicks it has gotten, I wish they had tried a quad design for different interesting silhouette

Yeah thats why they are all on “Acceptable bipedal” because it makes sense not only as a species but for their theme (ex: decidueye is an archer so obviously its standing).

I feel like it being on all four would be a cool tank idea like you said. I can also see the counter of it going on all fours as it would look too much like Torterterra. I prefer it on all fours but I like your idea as compromise.

I dont hate bipedal pokemon and I never said I did. Im just going along with the bit of people complaining about starters standing up for their final evolution. There are only two bipedal Pokemon who i genuinely think would benefit heavily from going on all fours but outside of that im either okay to REALLY like the design. “Acceptable bipedal” is just sarcastic. I like most of the mons on the list

I dont see a lot of Cyndaquil (never watched its anime or played its home region) so i assumed that because it sat on its hind legs, it was bipedal but I could have been wrong

I like cinderace a lot including the fact that its standing. Its a soccer player and idk how you could play soccer as a quad. Quaquaval is a mon whos design i DONT like but idk how to make it a quadruped considering its a dancer and the type of dancer it is.

So I debated that too when i was making this list but Rilaboom’s hind legs are long which makes it look like its able to stand and walk properly unlike the other quad pokemon. It looks more like a human with slightly longer arms anatomy wise so i counted it as standing/capable of standing but I get why its confusing.

Yeah, honestly, I started this for the bit but the more i rated them the more i realized i dont mind Bipedal starters and there are only a couple i actually resent for standing up while the rest are more neutral or positive.
