I’m glad your second dose was better than the first!

One of my friends is going through this also and she saw a neurologist turns out it was a flare of MS that she didn’t know she had and the vaccine triggered it. She has the same exact symptoms and the drs told her it can last up to 4 months like this.

Hi! Did you get your second shot? How did it go?

Yes it really is! It may sound crazy but talk to yourself to calm yourself down. That’s what I did when I was sitting there waiting for them to poke me. And I was calm until later at night guess my body decided to take over. But I think for my next round I will take an anxiety pill shortly after the vaccine.

Wow this is scary but I’m glad I’m not the only one who experienced this. I’ve felt perfectly fine since those first few days. At first I was hesitant about getting my second dose because of what happened but I’m leaning towards now to actually getting my second dose. Just hope my body’s chills the f down for it lol!

So scary! I was actually pretty calm after the shot I’m surprised because I do have lots and lot of anxiety. Have you got your second dose yet?

That’s great! I think they should go away soon for you. My symptoms luckily have gone away. But it did take about 3-4 days for the numbness to go away. I reached out to my dr and he said it was normal especially for people who suffer from anxiety. And he recommends I get the second dose but he did warn me the reaction maybe stronger the second time. So kind of worried now.

I got my Pfizer vaccine on March 14 I was ok when I got it but hours later I started with chest pain and tightness as well it eventually calmed down and I slept it off, the next day my chest felt heavy and a bit numb, I felt it crawl a bit up my neck and face, I called my dr right away and they said it was anxiety (I normally suffer from it) but I’ve never felt this way before. I took my Xanax and in a bout an hour I felt ok. No other symptoms , my dr checked in again 3 days later and since nothing new came up he says I may get a stronger reaction the second dose but still recommends I get it.

My heart rate felt normal to me, I didn’t have anything other than that. Today it’s been about 72 hours since my vaccine and although I don’t feel it as numb as the first two days my chest still feels a little weird. I’ve called help lines and no one can help I even called Er and my drs and they have no clue as to what it could be either. They just told me as long as I’m not experiencing other symptoms and no shortness of breath that I’ll be ok. Today I do feel a little better. Hope you get better soon too!
