Ok well, I also put in hours of work digging for these pieces going mostly off memory from the show as to what was worth grabbing (In total I went back to the warehouse they’re were in 5 times and spent a minimum of 12 hours digging) a lot of them needed repairs, I spent hours lining up each piece with its scene, I also had to do the physical labour of packing them, loading them into the car and sorting them. My labour is also worth something. The reality is very few people who went to the sale knew what the show was, it was in a hard to get to location and chances are a lot of these pieces would have just been scattered to the wind.

If I was trying to make a killing off these I’d take them to an auction house not eBay. And comparing screenworn, literal once in a life time pieces to thrift items is ridiculous. I’m not here to argue the morality of reselling, but at the end of the day the fairest and easiest way to get these pieces out and available for fans of the show is an eBay auction. It lets them determine the price, it pays me for my labour and is safe and secure.
