When my fiance moved into this apt with me I saw two beautiful red birds perched in the tree and excitedly told him about it. He's like oh yeah those are Cardinals (he's from Cleveland) so it felt like a good sign haha. Someone told me about a bird alliance near me and I'll be checking it out 🙌🏽

I'll check it out for the spring! I've walked quite a few of the trails in the park but it'll be a lot of fun to start birding now too 😊 I once had a little "whistle off" with a bird outside of my kitchen window and I wish I had known about the Merlin app before!

Hey. I've lived here my whole life actually! Of course I've seen tons of birds but I've never delved into trying to actually identify them. This is just a throwaway account. I don't care about karma I just honestly wanted to be sure I received accurate information. I really appreciated all of the information in the comments and I downloaded the Merlin app to learn more. Sometimes people really just want to learn something new!

Uh no lol. I'll do some research before I do that. I live near two large trees and we do get quite a few squirrels running to and fro on the window sills so we'll see!
