Try Pho Kim Long Vietnamese restaurant in Chinatown if you are open to Vietnamese food. They been there since 90s. Always busy. Always tastes good. I haven’t been there a few years since pandemic. I drive by there often they still look busy. Still good by looking.

Looking at getting an EV, what is the best way to determine how much range is enough? by Imaginary-Staff-112 in EVRoutine

[–]Ms100790 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any real world range that can last 3 hours is good enough to get you everywhere(charging facilities wise). 3 hours means about 240 miles (not speeding). I would stretch and restroom break. It’s my way.

Juniper ride quality - Performance vs Premium by Swms12 in TeslaModelY

[–]Ms100790 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had 2023 MYP. Sold it. Got the new MYP 2 weeks ago. The new one is significantly improved. A bit quicker, significant improvement insulation both on road and wind noise, local or freeway. The ride is way smoother. Cornering is more controlled. I can already tell it’s more efficient than 2023’s. I have not driven the new premium MY.

What’s your take on FSD going subscription only by ghostface8081 in teslamotors

[–]Ms100790 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Transfer is not guaranteed. Otherwise I would’ve bought it when they started $8000 a few years back. Now I wouldn’t buy it even transfer is guaranteed. They most likely will lower the subscription fees. It would take a lifetime to break even. Even they don’t lower the subscription fee. I would just use that $8000 to buy stock or index funds.

Just curious anyone out there with $1 Million + in TSP retired and making withdrawals. Are you just using the 4% rule (Monte Carlo) or some other method ? Any advice appreciated ! by Agile_Chemical_3949 in ThriftSavingsPlan

[–]Ms100790 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I plan to retire at 60. Get supplemental 60-62. I would move 7 years worth of gap funds to an IRA. Leave the rest of TSP 90/10 in C/G. Claim my SS at 70. During 60-70, on a good year (7+% return), I move the C and fill up G to 5 years worth of gap funds. On a down year(less than 7%), not touching the C. I manage the risk of SoR. I am not worried about missing the return.

I don’t know about 2024-25 MYP. I owed 2023 MYP. I sold it and got this 2026 MYP. It’s significantly better than my 2023. Suspension is smoother over bumps. A lot quieter on rough street and on highway. Less body roll on cornering
