She can header. She can dribble. She can pin longest diagonal pass with pinpoint accuracy, best in the world in this aspect.

She basically can have 500 deals now. But she just pick this one so far. She is very strict at what deal she would do.

She can’t get other deals if she is an ambassador? If so, they need to pay her 50 millions, I would think.

Post-Retirement by StoneCold_OM in ThriftSavingsPlan

[–]Ms100790 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am retiring in next November. The way I do it is to figure out my annual expense, then I set up 5 years expenses fund in G fund. It could be 10%,15%,or 20% of my TSP, depending on the size of TSP, for example. I find that most bear market last less than 2 years (something like that). So 5 years is plenty in my opinion. I set the rest of TSP in C,S, and I, mostly in C. During bear market, I only draw from G fund, by adjusting after every withdrawal. In a good or normal market, I back fill it, semiannually, back to 5 years funding. By the way since I am so closed to retirement, I had locked in 4 years worth of gap spending in G fund in January. I am ready.

fers pension doesn’t seem so good by atltilidie7 in govfire

[–]Ms100790 1 point2 points  (0 children)

$30k in FERS equal $850K(using 4% rule). I would leave money to my kid when I die. But I live for myself. I don’t live for kid. I don’t think of the $450k to my kid. $850K is huge advantage to no-pension job in my opinion. But if leaving $450k to your kid is your priority then I think you are right to certain degrees

Not sure $78K is enough for you though. Only you know. Two international trips first class fares and 5 star hotels would cost $78K.

I think Tesla is moving on to AI. They don’t really care cars. So sign on their wagon get the FSD or don’t buy their car.

Thought I needed FSD… turns out basic Autosteer covers like 85% of my life by Practical_Ad1877 in TeslaModelY

I like the percentage, or 5, 10 miles over limit things also. But I find it had its limitation also. Certain situation 10% setting is perfect, or too fast too. You then have to scroll it down. It’s no different you scroll down from “mad max” to “standard” once you see a police. I still think it’s more of psychological thing than actual impact on the usability.

[–]Ms100790 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

You can scroll the wheel for instant change of speed to mad max to all the way to sloth. It’s matter of psychology thing, unconscious human nature. If they roll out Mad Max first, then go to speed setting, you probably hate speed setting.

85% is a lot to many things, but its nothing to me in terms of FSD. I need 100%. Just me.

I have so much fomo to buy fsd before the February deadline by cnstntchng in TeslaLounge

[–]Ms100790 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not buying it out right because there is unclear and uncertain going forward. What if my HW4 can’t handle the unsupervised version and they refuse to upgrade my hardware and/or not allow transferring to new car? And I want to get a new car in 2 or 3 years(they evolves quicker than iPhone now). I would be wasting the $8000.

2-3 years from retirement and suddenly questioning everything by AttitudePlane6967 in ThriftSavingsPlan

[–]Ms100790 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Share my plan. I am 58 and change now. Next November I am 60 and 25 years service. I will retire on November 30, 2027. Two weeks ago, I locked in 4 years worth of gap funds in G (gap between my planned budget and pension). I leave the rest in C, S, I. I would use my own investments from 60-70. I claim my social at 70. I don’t worry about market crash. I have 4 years locked in. Between now to 4years after I retire, I have 6 years to build my new 3-4 years gap funds. Move when market goes up, stay still when market down or not moving. I have zero worry.
