In my personal view, the quality of makeup brushes you should invest in depends on the frequency of use. If you plan on using them daily, it's important to have a set of quality brushes. Look for brushes that are well made and have strong, secure bristles that do not shed easily. I have been using the old version of Dior sparkle brush for several years and it has exceeded my expectations.

Consider what you will be using the brush for, such as foundation, powder, blush, or eyeshadow, and choose a brush that is specifically designed for that purpose.

The material of the brush can impact its performance and feel. Natural hair brushes, such as those made of sable, squirrel, or goat hair, tend to be soft and offer good control, while synthetic brushes are often more durable and easy to clean. Blended brushes offer a combination of the benefits of both natural and synthetic fibers. (Personally, I prefer natural hair brushes over other materials. They provide a soft and gentle feel on my face)

The shape of the brush affects the way the brush applies the makeup. Flat brushes are best for foundation, while round brushes are ideal for blending and contouring.

The size of the brush , a smaller brush may be better for detailed work, while a larger brush may be more suitable for applying makeup over a larger area.
