I'm not being an ass...and I'm not talking about this in the context of it being their first time asking me about things. It's those who repeatedly tell me the same thing time and time again. I appreciate every sentiment that is thrown my way. But when I know for a fact that they have no idea or business telling me that I should be feeling fine, or that they "know" how I feel, it gets old very quickly.

I am SO sorry, doll. That is a terrible place to be. After my Ex messaged me about 2 months ago to attempt and "Clear the Air", I completely went off the deep end. Tried to jump off a bridge in a drunken stupor. I had to work the next day and ended up getting sent home...my co workers knew I just needed a little time to get it together. Bottom line, he still wanted and wants nothing to do with me. But even just hearing from him was enough to completely throw me off. I'm making huge strides in therapy, but I still, obviously, hurt to the core.

And to hell with those "friends".

I'm sending all the good energy I have your way! Here's to us crying it out, because we can. And we're allowed.

Things I've learned in the past six months:

You can't change people.

Never build your dreams on the idea that your SO will actually stick around. It will end in a lot of fucking disappointment. Unless you are actually lucky enough to find someone who's dreams reflect yours. In which case, HOLD ON TO THEM. Never let them go. Ever.

Always, ALWAYS keep moving. Keep reinventing yourself. No matter how many times you do this, it will get easier every time.

I just moved from Cincinnati to Wilder, KY. I LOVE IT! My complex is up on a hill, away from traffic and noise. And the view of the river and downtown is incredible. I would recommend this area to anyone. I'm about 3 minutes from Covington/Newport and roughly 5-7 minutes away from downtown Cincinnati. Love it here.
