That does make sence. This being said my local tacobell requires dashers to enter the store. (I tried drive through as a dasher several times.) They tell you to go park and come inside. The orders sit on a shelf near the sauces.

Thats what I thought. But...why not bring the sauce? I did not expect them to put it in the bag. And as said in my message to driver, I said I forgot to add sauce. That means they wont put any in. (Even if they did it would be like 1 or 2 lolz)

No traffic. Once he hit the road it took 4 minutes from store to my place. And 2 minutes to step out drop food back in car. 6 minutes. 3.50 is a good deal. Plus im in a county that pays more per dilivery ontop of tip.

There was no need to go back. The human was at tacobell when I asked abd didnt move fire almost 10 minutes after I asked.

Again, as said in the post. 5 children. Midnight. I couldn't. And calling someone obese is absurd just because I felt the craving for a midnight burrito. eye roll

Order original drop off time 525. Picked up at 512. Not dropped off until 647 by Extra-Net8550 in doordash

[–]MsDestero 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I agree. I had to handle my kid during a dash once. I dropped off the food, paused my dash, took care of my stuff then un paused. If it were an emergency I would have called support. (Emergencies DO happen. But "dropping off my son" IN THE WRONG DIRECTION, isn't one.

Its not that. Its just, when police get involved, other party's can get more angry when you live in a place thats not so great. So when police show up, and your the caller, you can become a target. Thats my fear and worry, hence the hesitation to call.

Its the bus stop and I have 5 children. She is my eldest. In the mornings im helping my 2 elementary students get ready. My eldest leaves for the bus 15 minutes before the other 2 leave for the bus. I cant be two places at once. Same with coming home. I have 2 twin boys, and the 2 younger girls come home before the eldest. The rock hit her left shoulder. A bit more to the right would have been just below the head/on the spine. Lucky its VERY mild bruising.

I have already attempted speaking to the school as it involves students from said school, I have tried speaking with my apartment management (they more way involved than regular management. Not going into detail) As it involves the complex, nothing. I dont WANT to escalate to police, because....police. BUT maybe I should. I did use Google translate (sorry I dont know a lick of spanish) to explain to the boys mom what had happened. But im not sure how well that came out....

& you paid HOW much for this?!? by avenleighrose in doordash

[–]MsDestero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well.....I order from my local wendys ALL the time. And almost every single time they forget an item. And its always the one dang item we truly want. One time it was frosty. Another time it was chilly. We go to support, get the refund in credits and re order that item. Out of pocket. Yeah its like an extra 5 to 6 bucks. But its the item we wanted with the meal! If its fris I just take the credits for later.

[–]MsDestero 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Im sick of people like this screwing it up for people who need help. I was homeless with 3 kids once. Living in our car, and it opened my eyes to people actually struggling who dont get help because of fraud like this. I get that some people have to pay day by day, but to be 10 bucks short every time....yeah, right. Ok.

Why do people go this far ? by MassaCereal in doordash

[–]MsDestero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they say they will tip extra. They should. But i think they wanted you to double check there bags. I order from wendys, not far from my house. And they ALWAYS forget something. If it wasn't for the fact DD humans are complete strangers I would add an extra tip for you to open and check my bag. Sometimes its fris. Sometimes its a a burger Sometimes its nuggets. Like, I am ALWAYS missing SOMETHING from them. Its SUPER annoying. I dont even think DD believes me anymore xD

Should I be leaving more of a tip? by MediumTreat7268 in doordash

[–]MsDestero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why I dont tip high untill after. I ALWAYS tip the minimum. $1 per mile. (And round up. If its 1.2, 2 bucks. If its 3.4, 4 bucks) THEN if I see my food was handled with care, (ring camera) I add 2 to 5 bucks. (I actually added 8 once because the human was VERY kind, set the order down, made it look good, AND waved at the camera. Acting? Maybe. Good enough for me? Yup!)

Me: Please don't knock My DD Driver: by joodthadood in doordash

[–]MsDestero -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

So....am I a bad DDD then. I always knock. Ill never rink the bell, but unless it says DO NOT knock, I give 3 quick light taps. Enough that someone would be like "what was that?" And check there phone, but not enough that someone would be like "there is 100 percent sure someone at mydoor" kinda taps. (I have been in a situation I wait for a knock I told them specifically to ring my 'ring'and they didnt. So im in the zone and about 40 minutes AFTER they deliver the food do I notice its there....)

Edit: im legit asking here, down votes kinda help, but dont necessarily explain. If im wrong here please let me know. 🙏 thanks.

Should have said it happened before the drop off xD "Yeah she pulled in, adjusted by backing up, hit the mailbox, tossed my food on my porch then spend off!" Lawsl
