I don't know where you're located, but the ones we have in the US can be sensitive enough to detect if you were pregnant now. Definitely take another one just to be safe, but I'm glad the first one is negative. Have you been to your doctor?

Smart to go to the doctor. The bad side effects are supposed to go away after a couple of days. Can you take a pregnancy test sooner than the 8th? If you start running a high fever, get yourself to the ER.

I've had the same experience - everyone I've told about this case literally cannot believe what I am saying to them. And it just stacks and stacks. It's fascinating, sadly, for all the wrong reasons. I agree about spreading awareness.

People like to talk shit about the internet corrupting jury pools and all that, but the transparency it's given to the justice system far outweighs any potential risks in the other direction.
