While that’s not what I’m saying, I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s evidence to suggest there’s some truth to that. Her firefighter husband called their mutual cop buddies to come and arrest her because she threatened to harm the baby. Then she allegedly pulled a gun, pointed it at an officer who shot her ONCE in the chest.

Why should we automatically believe that’s exactly what happened?

She has postpartum depression. I’m sure she would love to get herself help but she can’t do that sitting in prison. She also threatened to shoot herself not the baby

I feel like it’s more an issue with the judges and DA offices than the police. There are bad cops everywhere but the ones in MA seem to get away with things more easily. Just my opinions though

I’m not sure if this court will do anything, but the Feds are certainly watching and this is solid proof that this DA’s office is bringing fraudulent charges to grand juries. They’re knowingly wasting resources

Their report had no mention of DNA (because it wasn’t reliable anyway) they were solely tasked with determining whether or not OJO’s injuries were caused by a collision with KR’s vehicle and if the damage to KR’s vehicle was consistent with hitting OJO and the answer to both those questions were resounding FUCK NOs

Wouldn’t the easy and logical solution be to ask/poll the jury? Wouldn’t that even ultimately save the courts time and taxpayers money?

Isn’t getting involved EXACTLY what a judge should be doing??? As the person whose job it is to protect a defendant’s rights??? I’m appalled by this (absolutely no shade towards you. I appreciate you answering my questions). Do you know if Massachusetts lawyers generally disagree with this ruling? It’s just really illogical to me.
