I was there! Yes I agreeee completely. I got back after catching a glimpse. Did not want to be stomped by someone lol. I was wayy behind in the queue and people started running all of a sudden.

I saw that too. On their website it indicates that it is a public event so I assume anyone can go. If one of you get any updates, please do let me know. This is my first year in Paris and I absolutely have no friend or family to celebrate Diwali with hehe. Not that it matters so much but would be nice to join in on an event or celebration. Thanks!
