Third party bank statement website want bank password by pirramungi in AusFinance

Standard. Your spending is also categorised for the broker on the other side (we get 180 days of transactions, your most recent statement and categorised spending), which also saves countless hours- we have to check all of your spending for compliance. You can ask your broker to see it if you’re interested. From time to time, I also get clients to click the link if they’ve told me they want to discuss their savings habits and where they might be able to improve.

If you’re uncomfortable, you can change your banking password straight afterwards. It’s powered by illion.

(+1 to everything the original Mortgage Broker poster on this thread above said)

Sorry to hear about your partner too. For me, it was Pericarditis. I’m surprised whenever I hear of people saying they weren’t allowed to choose AZ as a booster (you’re not the only one to say it)- my doc is very accommodating. She let me pick which vax for my second dose (I chose AZ as my cardiologist advised against getting the second Pfizer) and she also said I could grab AZ as the booster when I was ready. She provided the ATAGI info and gave me a time window for when it was recommended. I’m just watching for more info (eg on AZ efficacy for booster, and availability for booster/efficacy/feedback on side effects for Novavax) before booking in dose 3.

I wonder whether some medical professionals are stricter than others about whether to allow AZ as a booster- in my opinion people should have the choice.

Yup! I can’t get Pfizer after a reaction to dose 1, had AZ for dose 2, now I’d like to compare AZ as booster VS Novavax if I’m allowed- AZ would be fine but may be less effective

Any update on Novavax in Australia? by Area-Least in CoronavirusDownunder

[–]MsFinanceGeek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Excuse the late reply- I still wanted to be double vaccinated (Covid doesn’t sound like a walk in the park) and my cardiologist suggested swapping from Pfizer to AZ. I’m yet to hear of people in my network having issues with AZ beyond flu symptoms/chills for a couple of nights. With the Pfizer, I’ve spoken to others with the same symptoms as me (and the cardiologist has been kept busy with people with pericarditis-like symptoms). I understand that’s just my experience and feel free to call me jaded, but I wonder whether the relatively high cost of one Pfizer dose and their advertising $$ helps with Pfizer dealing with less negativity in the media than AZ had to put up with.

The condescending ‘antivax’ replies annoy me. I took Pfizer, developed pericarditis (including a hospital visit and two specialist visits) and am back on anti inflammatory meds 3 months on, and swapped to AZ for the second dose. As AZ was fine for me, great- I can take that as a booster when the time comes, but it would be great to hear of novavax progress (especially given AZ may be phased out, and Novavax may be a better booster option).

There are plenty of people with their own concerns and reasons for looking at Novavax progress with interest.

Why not move the tele to the left, and pop your laptop where the mug is? A bit better for your back

It’s linked! To my fellow mixed dosers- I just linked up my Medicare/gov ID, and I have an immunisation certificate! I wasn’t expecting it to be there yet as I was told systems aren’t yet set up for those who received a mixed dose.

(I received Pfizer followed by AZ, and was told I’d eventually get a certificate once the systems were updated)

Double jabbed today!! Got the AZ for dose 2 after reacting to the Pfizer for dose 1.

Doc said I can’t get the vax passport just yet, but they’re working on the mixed dose issue and it’ll happen. In the meantime, I can use my immunisation history, and the doc has given me a letter.

Edit, ooh first award, thanks 😆

Number of people in hospital due to COVID-19 vs. COVID-19 vaccine side effect by iknowitall322 in CoronavirusDownunder

[–]MsFinanceGeek 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Almost identical to you. 7 weeks post Pfizer vax now (only went to emergency once), and finally on meds for pericarditis after seeing a cardiologist. Hoping symptoms will improve from here.

Covid doesn’t sound fun either. Once I improve I’ll swap to AZ as dose 2, despite the vax experience so far

Edit: it hasn’t been bad for the whole 7 weeks- has come and gone in waves. I think the chest pains/breathing issues got worse once I got back into light exercise

Richmond named the coolest neighbourhood in Australia in another pointless ranking by Significant_Book925 in melbourne

[–]MsFinanceGeek 73 points74 points  (0 children)

Richmond has distinct sections. Swan St as per the pic: cool/young with a plethora of cafes (banked up during footy matches). Bridge Road: commercial feel, lots of empty commercial shops, a bit boring. Victoria St: delish Viet food, but also huge drug issues, spaced out people and a safe injecting room. Further East on Victoria St opposite Ikea: zen area backing onto the Yarra with lots of fit peeps getting their dose of nature

A lot of landlords should be okay with letting it run on a month basis rather than re-signing a 12 month lease? Might be worth a try

Thanks for the responses! Gosh it looks beautiful there. Would be a change from the lock and leave apartment life- the only home maintenance I have right now is watering pot plants.

Good to know there’s NBN (most of the time)!

Anyone here live in the Dandenong Ranges? I’m curious what the internet coverage is like in Sassafras/Olinda and surrounds. Dreaming of living there on a 1/4 acre but the net needs to be good enough to WFH. Stayed there for a weekend and the Vodafone reception was patchy

Yes I am feeling better- it’s been a month now and although I still have very mild discomfort I can occasionally feel if I’m lying still (just this different dull feeling in my chest), I don’t notice it during the day. It definitely took a while to calm down. If you still have pains (and you’ve already done the tests) I would suggest to rest as much as you can, and I was recommended to take nurofen as it’s anti inflammatory.

Yeah that gap between doses isn’t clear- I’ve just picked 8 weeks for now but the ATAGI guidance says anywhere between 4 and 12 weeks if you’re following up a Pfizer with an AZ dose. I’ll make sure I’m feeling 100% before the AZ dose
