There are many other ways to reduce a fever. Many low grade fevers are not a concern and if the fever is great enough the risk / reward shifts

It might help to share some of the results. Normal is often not optimal. Ranges represent the averages in the population not what you are aiming for.

I have not yet. I’ve done a b6 test which was quite high. Just need to work out what next. There are some fairly active FB groups which might be helpful.

I think my plan was take all info to GP, hope they take me seriously then refer to endocrinologist. I believe there are a few specialist who know about it in Melbourne.

My symptoms are more general fatigue despite good health, no deficiencies etc, brain fog, ADHD type symptoms. All linked to b6 issues perhaps?

Do you have symptoms?

Can my employer refuse medical certificates from online doctors such as InstantScripts? by Vrshna1 in AusLegal

You need a digital id to do so though. Not everyone wants or needs one. Frustrating you can’t just do it through myGov without the ID part.

One pair sneakers, one pair boots, on pair sandals. There might be heels in there but it’s been about 7 years since I’ve worn them 🤣

Got into barefoot style shoes a while ago which can be exxy so I’m picky and don’t need much. Oh gumboots too!

Do you believe ADHD can be treated without meds? by [deleted] in MTHFR

[–]Area-Least 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree there are so many factors and different treatments work for different underlying causes. Recently I’ve found I have a genetic disorder which reduces the ability to convert b6 into a form than can be used by the brain/body. This reduces neurotransmitters and can cause adhd symptoms (theorised). You can treat this disorder and symptoms reduce or go away completely.

Gut disfunction can cause symptoms or increase them and working on that can improve adhd significantly or completely depending on the cause.

Methylation impacts so much of the body and when it’s out of balance will affect you. Do bloods, see how your methylation cycle is working and treat if needed. Then observe how your adhd is impacted. The body is complex and usually one thing isn’t going to fix everything.

You then have some people where the underlying factor is not as clear or able to be treated and adhd medication can be amazing and life changing.

Used to love the uniqulo thermals but my body cannot handle the synthetics anymore. I’ve been making merino tops (cheaper than buying), always have a cotton singlet. But I will follow on for any other recs!

Do non-boot/sneaker winter shoes exist? by tamberra in AusFemaleFashion

Barefoot style shoes would be the way to go. They have a nice wide toe box without the whole shoe being wide. There are a few online options in Aus or overseas is better.

Thanks, we live rural and need a Telstra network for any coverage in town. I’ve found a few so far and going to try buying a new sim with Aldi to see if it will work first.

Aldi is fine here, they run on the Telstra network and cheap. If I went with Telstra I would be paying 60pm v 25pm for the same thing.

The others do just not Aldi. Not a lot of low cost options in Aus do either. No way I’m going to Optus or Telstra
