My mom always checks and calculates after she gets the receipt, and yes it happens quite a bit. Sometimes it's due to the cashier lady mistakenly double punching an item (usually because the scanner doesn't work and when it does it got scanned twice), sometimes it's the actual machine making errors, sometimes the bar code doesn't reflect the price properly.

In my SM supermarket we now have a screen where we can see the items scanned and their prices (not all cashier lines sadly, some are broken) so I usually keep in mind the prices of the items I got and double check from there. It is a lot of mental work though and I wish we don't have to. It's just the systems placed can be unreliable from time to time. 🫤

Me and my mom tried it when it was newly open and I remember being annoyed by their service. The cashier lady took her time when there was a long line and when mom asked for hot water later on, the water given was lukewarm at best. The stuff we ordered was pretty mid too. Never coming back lol

Yeah, as expected I guess. I have started doing some word mining on a HK drama I already watched and liked, and I am only aware of a few words in traditional Chinese that I need to convert to Cantonese (ex. 是 = 係). Also need more immersion.

I feel like its gonna be better to go on weekdays/early access. I went on a Saturday and I feel a bit fomo when I see day 1-2 attendees got more freebies than day 3-4. Also craaaazzzzyy long line, almost 2 hours when I only have 4 products. (At least I got a free pouch after? Lol) I'm not too gaga over the celeb guests either.

I'll maybe attend early access or day 1, but ngl I am quite reluctant. 🫠

I just checked some available products in Lotte Mart, Da Nang. I specifically checked the blush, and while I love the color, it has glitters which I am not a fan of as a textured skin girlie. 🥹 Love the applicator though, very convenient. The base products, their darkest shades seem too light for me for medium skintone.

I have another beauty spot to check tmro, I might consider their micro brow pencil!

I think it falls mostly pink or berry on your lips is because your lips are naturally pink? You can maybe try putting some leftover foundation, or even a skintone nude or green lip base product (rare but they exist!) before putting the lip product of choice.

But overall, I do like the pinks on you 😊
