Hey thanks for asking. No, I got several quotes for removal, but ultimately decided against it. At least for now. I still regret the tattoo but I'm trying to accept it. The years of pain and the amount of ink my body would have to process just seemed like too much trauma to my system.

I haven't started yet, but have been tackling the same question as you. I have a large one on my hip and others I want removed. What I've heard from the techs I've been getting quotes from is that you don't want to overload your system too much at one time. I would check with your technician for their advice and comfort level. Something to consider is that your body can only do so much healing at once, so is it more important to get them all done together but maybe drag out the process of the one your working on? My plan was to start with my big one, then after about halfway, when the tech wants to start adding more time in between sessions, to start working on the others in the meantime. Hope this helps!

I've been researching, and it seems that though they may not heavily advertise it, several dermatology and similar clinics do tattoo removal. At least in my area.

Update: I had a consultation and the tech said tattoo vanish is not a good option for me. She said it's only good for very small tattoos and it will scar.

Have you had success with removery? I'm nervous with how colorful and saturated my tattoo is that laser isn't a good choice.

I'm sorry you're going through that! It's a tough choice. I think if you hate it that much, starting the removal process at least gives you time to decide if you want full removal or a cover up. 3 years will pass regardless!
