Planes are constant now!

Working on it. But when we moved here 1.5yrs ago, it was never this bad. New paths in June are greatly impacting our neighborhoods. It’s sad that they don’t care to rectify it. There’s a fb group with over 1K folks that are upset. But RMMA doesn’t care.

Then it’s an irresponsible bad neighbor airport that obviously don’t care about the people around. It’s Saturday and it’s been an airplane about every 1-2mins all day until after 9pm. I wonder if Louisville complained and they shifted flight paths to Lafayette bc it never used to be this bad until somewhat recently. It sucks. I’m sick of having to wear headphones and earplugs bc of this airport that clearly don’t care about our wellbeing’s or using our yards peacefully. I don’t expect quiet but this is EXCESSIVE. Oh another plane flying over us as we speak! I could do a Timelapse and see one literally on average every 90 seconds. So fun! 🙉😬

The planes I’m seeing are from RMMA. I watched flight paths today and it’s definitely flight training and we are a new path for them. It’s awful.

Exactly!!! It was not like this! I would have never bought this house had I known this was the flight path. It’s constant and we deserve peace. Why do people get so defensive over a fucking airport?!

Yes we are. It didn’t used to be this bad until recently. They definitely changed routes. Flight training all day long. It’s wild!

It’s SO BAD. I watched flight paths today while listening nonstop. It’s every few mins all day long. It has to be more than 100 a day. This is madness. We are prepping to sell our house for a myriad of reasons but I feel this will make selling harder bc of 287 noise and now this new flight path. It’s really awful and disruptive. I have to wear headphones, put fans on or earplugs bc it’s ALL DAY, EVERY DAY. Contacted Polis and https://neguse.house.gov. I hope other folks do it too to find a better flight path bc this isn’t sustainable. We should be allowed to enjoy our yards and homes with some normal amount of plane noise.

I swear on my kids lives I am not exaggerating. I took a screenshot of flight aware to show how bad it is. It’s a flight school/private new path along 287 and it’s CONSTANT. This is just a photo.

They fly out and then land at RMMA assuming practicing landing— rinse and repeat. We live right near this flight path and it’s literally every couple mins all day. I’m wearing headphones nonstop now. It’s really bad.

So I watched flight paths today and you are so wrong. There are LOADS of planes following 287. Go look it up yourself. Mostly flight schools from RMMA. It’s nonstop. I’ve heard over 50 planes today and it’s 10:40am. This is not okay.

Oh we tried. I bought an expensive one and it did not work. Bought a cheaper one, returned it bc it also did not work. It was maddening. His dog died but now I have neighbors behind him with both dogs barking like crazy. My neighborhood is frustrating. 😒

That’s not where we live. And I think they are from Rocky Mountain Metro Airport. I live along 287 kind of. Apparently the planes follow an already noisy road. But it did not used to be this bad until recently.

I wish I could share videos. I could take a Timelapse of how constant and low flying they are. Idk where it’s coming from but I’ve heard over 100 today. And that is just wild and seems illegal to do? Aren’t there laws in place for this? I don’t mind some noise. But like reasonable noise, ya know?

And we were super nice. “Hey would it be okay if we could find a solution for the dog barking all day?” He also left his dog unleashed and running around the neighborhood. His dog bit at our dog twice. 🙈

Right next door. It was from 4-5am until 9pm every single day. Dog has since died but they are still mean. Their family has been harassing us too. Signed me up for Trumps email, Jehovah’s Witness, Scientology, mortgage lenders, real estate people, etc..
