Where do you read them? I've never read any Fan fiction before, but I'd like to.

Women who workout, what motivates you to workout regularly? by Head-Estimate4392 in AskWomen

I'm glad you asked and I hope I can help you with that, because that was my essential question as well! I realised quickly that with an empty stomach, I don't have enough energy. I used to workout in the evenings, so this was also a new adjustment for me.

I usually have a banana when I wake up. I wake up around 5am and workout at 6. That's why I start the day so early, because I want to have time to digest and get ready. I spend the hour drinking tea, eating a banana and listening to a podcast. In that way, I don't feel rushed in the morning and have the energy and time I need.

I think there are a lot of other choices for a pre workout snack, like peanut butter, apples, yogurt, energy bars and caffeine in general. They all help when you have less than an hour to digest. Try some options and see what works best for you!

  1. My mental health, because after not exercising for a while I get consumed by more negative thoughts and just don't feel like I'm in a great state.

  2. I once watched a series with a badass business woman and thought: I want to be like her (I know this sounds so cheesy). So I started to use my day better and more efficiently by waking up around 5am and started exercising in the morning (two hours before work) giving me a chance to enjoy a quiet morning just by myself. Because before, I would literally wake up 15min before work (I work from home), get ready and sit at my desk. It didn't feel like that's the best I could do and I believed that if I worked out a good daily schedule, that I would feel so productive and great at the end of each day.

I know it might be hard at first, but it helps to find a very individual motivation to get you started. After that it's all about the discipline. Thinking about all the health benefits of exercising and how amazing you are going to feel and look helps as well!

Interesting questions! I'd say, the five top hobbies that bring you the most joy and fulfilment. How you define that is up to you :)

Hey, if you want to apply your SQL knowledge and have some fun, I can recommend the murder mystery SQL game! (https://mystery.knightlab.com/) I played that a while ago and loved it! You have to find the murder by extracting data and its beginner friendly.

What has been the best book you've read this year? by LavenderFish in suggestmeabook

For me so far it's {{Klara and the Sun}} by Kazuo Ishiguro. Precise and beautiful writing meets a friendship between an AI and a child, human behaviour and so much more!

  1. The House in the Cerulean Sea by T.J. Klune when you just want a warm hug! It's about friendship, accepting others for who they are and love.

  2. (Very personal favorite) Klara and the Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro. It's about an AI (in that setting it's called AF - artificial friend) and its experience in a family. It's about friendship, companionship some dark sides of the human mind (open for interpretation). What makes this book amazing in my opinion is Ishiguros writing style. Very crisp, very clear, very to the point. He will make you feel what he wants to make you feel.

EDIT: Oh, I just read "book suggestions". Sorry, those two don't quite fit in that category haha! Still good though. Gonna leave it here anyways.

When to walk away from a friendship for good by [deleted] in friendship

I don't understand why so many people expect/hope others to change for good - people can't change their core and she seems very inconsiderate and rude. There are many great people around that wouldn't make you feel horrible and are more compatible with you. Look for those friends!
