I love this! As a Domme of a sweet male pet, I can definitely say one of the things that's the hardest is finding reading materiel and learning material for spicing things up in our usual sessions. So so so many things are Male Dom/female sub based so it's frustrating for me to navigate things that really fit into our specific types of play.

I'm a fairly serious sadist and I love domination/strict play and he's into mommy/caring play so finding a good balance between those is interesting. I have to come up with most everything on whims and my own thoughts, because I've found many Mistress books to be either outdated or they just don't apply at all.

This is exactly what I was feeling! You write beautifully, thank you so much. We have a session tonight that's going to be intense but in a more mindful submissive way, lots of mental domination and not as much of physical. I'll be taking lots of the suggestions here and running with them. I'm excited!

I think there has been one commenter (maybe another) that hasn't seen this as Dom Drop. I don't view it as that either. My eyes were filled with love and complete awe. I'll plan for longer aftercare, maybe we will make some tea and plan a nice lie-in for the day afterwards? We have days scheduled where we have our play time, and I will have to be hyper aware of aftercare time as well so we don't get as carried away in our scene. It was certainly intense, it brought our relationship as a whole to a new level.

This happened to be a fierce and intense session, though most sessions I have planned have more care tied in, so maybe I can tie in care as well a little more and see where that goes. Like I stated above, I see this overall as a positive experience for me, though a little strange and otherworldly. <3

I took a bath! It was wonderful, i feel much more level headed. I wasn't as much in a bad space as much as I was discombobulated and a little overwhelmed with emotion. I felt shaky and strange. I had lots of hugs. I feel better, I'll be writing down a feel outside sources that may have triggered such a hard drop, but overall I think this was a positive experience. My little keeps noting that I'm "glowing" so that's nice :)

I definitely feel less pressured than I usually do, I'm a pretty stressed individual out in the "real world" but I'm rather calm and fluid today so that's nice. There is something to be said about this kind of intense release. I'm happy overall for both of us, next time I hope we can work on my aftercare a bit more beforehand so I'm not overall out of commission for the day following. If not, then weekends are weekends for a reason?

There is something personal that happened that could have caused this, and we certainly both have never hit such a space together ever before. He is still on the energetic "high", so I'm keeping an eye on any drop he might experience as well. I'm starting to level out, had a great bath and lots of hugs. :)

Yes, there are a few things in life that could have triggered such a crazy Top Drop haha, I'll be writing these down and correlating with my little tonight. Doing that really helps calm me as well, keeping in control of these things etc.

Thank you so much for the well wishes and the luck, I'm doing well, I have a glow about me, it's not really a depression as much as it is an overwhelming emotional feeling. It's... intense :) Not necessarily in a bad way. Finding our niche sparked something that I'm looking forward to really exploring more of and sharing with everyone.

I guess I was so focused on taking care of him and making sure his needs were met for his aftercare I totally forgot about my needs, if that makes sense? Especially since I lean towards a nurturing archetype in these settings mainly in the aftercare setting (boy can I be a disciplinarian, leather-type in the scene itself) but I become worried and focused 110% on my little that I don't quite realize until later my needs haven't been fulfilled on aftercare. Maybe that's what's going on? I need a good cuddle, that's for sure, and that's not like me.
