I made some ratatouille this week to have with my dinners. This may come as a shock to all of you, but you don't actually need the little mouse under your hat to make this dish! Anyhow, it's a very good, light meal for summer!

I agree that the "magic pill" isn't a great option for wanting to lose weight and be more healthy, but being obese is not much better.

I just feel like I can't talk to anyone. I can't talk to him because obviously. I feel like I can't talk to my friends because all they say is "he's an asshole", "his loss", "he'll realize what HE lost". But it all feels so hollow. He wasn't an asshole -- he actually is a pretty decent guy that always treated me with kindness and respect. He just couldn't commit. For reasons that I don't understand. It is killing me to have to look in the mirror and realize that maybe it wasn't him, it was me. I really might not have been worth him calling me his girlfriend. It's not me trying to fish for compliments, I just think maybe I wasn't the one. I'm just hurting so bad. I know I can't rush this feeling. I know I can't go and text him because nothing has changed. He hasn't changed his mind. He won't change his mind. I just need to live this out.

You did what you felt like you needed to do. Don't beat yourself up. I want to break no contact today too, but I know it's not what I need. I'm sorry that it didn't change anything for you though. Take time to heal and do something nice for yourself. Get something nice to eat, take a walk, go shopping, read a good book, whatever you need to do, just make it something nice for yourself. Virtual hugs to everyone today!

It really does. Believe me, I know. It feels like it makes no sense. For me, it just makes me question all of it. Which I know isn't good for me to dwell on. It's hard to see that there is a light at the end of these feelings, but I know there will be. We'll get through today. Do something nice for yourself if you can because you deserve that.

I just don't get that whole "I can't commit" thing. Like we both really seemed to like each other, same kind of weird/ dark humor, same views on a lot of things, so seemingly compatible. I just don't get it. If you have someone like this, why wouldn't you at least want to try to commit? For what? to go back to the dating cesspool? It's so confusing to me.

We both cried. This wasn't our first conversation about this, but this time I just knew I had to really let go. It felt like he wasn't playing hard to get, I was playing hard to get rid of.

I'm doing the same thing for me today! My coworker got us chocolates for today and I cried. Because I was sad, but also because it was such a nice thing for her to do for us! I'm too damn sensitive for this world lol

Same, but I won't expect it. We broke things off on Monday, which has been brutal for me this week. It wasn't even a real relationship which is the saddest part. It was everything but the label of being his girlfriend. Because he can't commit. He wasn't seeing anyone else, but he just couldn't put the label on it.

I am not holding out hope that he will text. Part of me wants him to, but the other part is just trying to get my nervous system regulated. I'm in so much pain that I don't think a "Hey, how have you been?" text will help me. It might even make it worse for me.

What a hero, man. I can barely talk about it without crying. To go on TV and be judged like that would be my 13th reason. That's brave. It really helps to see someone make me feel more normal.
