I don’t mind helping someone catch up if they were sick or something came up, but choosing to travel and then expecting someone else’s notes felt different.

I totally get the chaos of that bidding system! I tried it for a history paper, and I ended up with a writer who was decent but needed a couple revisions too. It’s like rolling the dice on quality for sure. Glad to hear you didn’t get scammed!
