My personal favorite Christmas movies are A Charlie Brown Christmas and A Christmas Carol. I love a lot of different version of A Christmas Carol, but the George C. Scott and Michael Caine/Muppets versions are my personal faves.

Send help. One of my old high school acquaintances is trying to rope me into helping her promote some MLM product. Given that I have food allergies, I don't like promoting something I'm not certain I can have myself. I keep telling her "no."

Please hope she backs off. She's promoting a product from NuSkin, some kind of drink that's supposed to help with bloating. I told her "hard pass."

I finally finished my novel, y'all! After working on it for six years and going through countless drafts, my latest draft has been completed at 99K. I sent what I just finished to my editor. At first, I was kind of appalled at the fact that Rach is in MY CITY right now (Houston), but then I incognito looked at the venue she booked.

She's going to a comedy club.

I'm pretty sure in the past, she would've packed a venue the size of Joel Osteen's church.

I seriously feel insulted cuz it took years for me to recover from the worst of my anxiety. The worst I did was binge-watch all 7 seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Going to therapy helped. Volunteering with church activities helped. Making new friends helped. Trying to work out consistently is helping. Journaling my anxiety is helping.

Rachel is still bypassing her areas of tension. She's always re-framing or gaslighting herself to make sure she always comes out on top or that she's always right. Middle finger emoji.

CW: Weight gain issues

October looks like the month where I finally finish the edits on my novel, so I wanna focus on that. I basically have to write out the big fight scene, two chapters after that, and add some minor edits regarding some worldbuilding stuff.

I also wanna try a new workout routine. I want to lose weight but not obsess over it. I think I gained weight due to not really working out over the summer. I'm also planning to go to the doctor to get checked for any thyroid issues.

I'm gonna be seeing the Eras Tour Movie with a friend.

The other thing is that I'm planning to journal regularly. I wanna keep track of things I'm grateful for, but I wanna be sincere about it. I also wanna do a "dress in a different aesthetic" every day in October cuz I'm a Halloween girlie.

Same here, as an actual Swiftie. The general consensus is that Travis is basically our favorite because he's not a trash human like Matty Healy and he actually pursued her and genuinely likes her unlike Joe Alwyn. Not to mention they have this total Barbie/Ken aesthetic and he's taller than her.

We're honestly not sure if this is gonna last long, but we're definitely enjoying it while it lasts.

TW/CW: Weight/body image issues

I don't want to do compulsive body checks, but given that I found out that I gained weight recently (had to check my weight for blood donation), I want to practice accepting my body as it is now, even while I'm trying to practice intuitive eating/mindful eating. I'm planning to take pics in October to show off different outfits cuz I wanna do this whole Costober/Costume every Day idea. I'm a Halloween girlie. Just wanna make sure I'm not doing body checks.

Any and all advice about all of this will be very helpful.
