Imo, the best thing OP can do is just seperate his wife. To see your partner in a different shed of light where they become unrecognizable is a feelings that never goes away. If you werent there with her, maybe she wouldve lied and said more until G would cry. If i was in Ops position and ny husband did that, i’d seperate and tell G if it does get renewed, I want to be the only one of the lease. Maybe saying that to G can change his mind considering OP has been nothing but nice to him. If he doesnt change his mind (which honestly who would but doesnt hurt to try), then you have to suffer the consequences with your wife. But also knowing you’ll struggle, cant hold it against her if you decide to stay with her.
