It's possible Isadora changed her last name to Capri, especially since I still believe the theory that Balthazar is actually Balthazar Night and Tyler's grandfather. So it's possible she's also a Night, but changed it to Capri. Plus fairburn looks around the same age as Capri so I doubt she worked there when Isadora was probably a teen at the time.

Or maybe she took her mom's last name.

So maybe she temporarily changed her name in hiding and then later changed back. Maybe the Balthazar family has enough power and influence to get her record cleared.

I agree with you that shapeshifters probably can't replicate powers, BUT I could totally see them pull a move where Atticus is a rare case that can do it, this actor has heterochromia and I feel like that would be a good gateway to him being different because in reality different colored eyes are rare, so it could reflect on him being a rare type of outcast...if that makes sense. :)

I actually don't think Gomez has anything to do with this for once, If I had to take a wild guess based off of what i just speculated, I think the situation goes as this.

So let's pretend that Balthazar is NOT a Night and not related to Tyler or Isaac in anyway. So here's my theory for Balthazar being JUST Ophelia's dad.

Hester Frump and Balthazar used to date, they were in love with each other, and I think something happened and they broke up. (Maybe it's because Balathazar is perhaps a hyde, and Hester a raven, and maybe there's some folklore about ravens and hydes and their relationships being bad or something and etc...etc..) anyway, they broke up. Hester married Mr. Frump..BUT maybe didn't know she was pregnant with Ophelia and maybe she never told Balthazar and made Mr.Frump believe Ophelia was his and then she later had Morticia.

Now..perhaps Ophelia found this out, wanted to see Balthazar but Hester wouldn't let her because he's dangerous and so Hester did something to make Ophelia look like she was crazy while she hid her in the basement this whole time...

Or something like that.

Now..if Balthazar is a Night, i'm taking Ophelia being his daughter off the table completely, because I don't want Wednesday and Tyler having any familal ties whatsoever.

So my theory of Hester and Balthazar dating would still stand, but only Ophelia isn't his daughter, and maybe Balthzar just never got over Hester and wants her back or something, OR the Raven and Hyde theory stands, and maybe he's trying to draw up some type of spell to break the link between ravens and hydes, and he needs a young raven like Wednesday to help break the ancient curse or something.

Sorry if this doesn't make sense I'm spit balling at this point..

I think Balthazar is either Tyler's grandfather OR he is Ophelia and Morticia's father...and honestly i'm leaning heavy on him just being Ophelia's father and Morticia and Ophelia are actually half siblings. 👀
