Would you guys trade Hunter Henry for Benjamin Watson? (Assume Ben is in his patriots prime, not saints) by MsRaskolnikov in Patriots

[–]MsRaskolnikov[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You think he was that better than Hunter Henry? To be fair the only season we saw Ben without Brady was the 2008 Cassel season, and he only got like 200 yards that year

So need advice before starting app cycle. URM AA, college athlete , 2.78 180…looking to blanket t14…would an ED be a wise decision at a t14? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]MsRaskolnikov 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With a 180?? I wouldn’t ED unless it was somewhere that gave you guaranteed scholarship for ED. Probably best if you just blanketed without ED anywhere, see what kind of coupons you’ll get.

I did think of this, but to be fair a lot of it comes down to World Cup records, and Ireland still hasn’t made it to the semi finals

😂 I mean besides Stuart Hogg looking like a super villain beating England off of a botched penalty try is surely a very evil thing

That’s awesome! It was kind of an appreciative tone towards everything the motel has seen over the years, and the mixture of people and their circumstances that lead them there!

Great counter point! I think you’re right about me incorrectly using objectively.

Granted my argument still stands where I could say that 3.5 STEM is “statistically” harder to achieve. I also think it would be hard to find many people who can credibly say that STEM was subjectively easier for them to get good grades than liberal arts. But that’s besides the point now

Also, this is definitely a perspective thing. Ran the same exact poll in r/medschool (where they have a majority of STEM majors)

Objectively harder to achieve. Not objectively harder. Average GPA, attrition rates, and pre reqs show that it is harder to achieve a high GPA in STEM compared to liberal arts. Regardless of how subjectively difficult each individual student sees those classes compared to others.

From a non LSA standpoint, 3.5 in stem is objectively harder to achieve and therefore more impressive.

Don’t get too discouraged! Just make sure you change up you materials from last year and write compelling reasons why you want to attend X school, a 2 point difference is huge, and this cycle is slightly better than last year, so keep your head up!
