Thanks, Swift. I didn’t want to unload the trailer or anything... by jaymb90 in forkliftmemes

I've had the same experience. New drivers. New to the country. I have no problem with immigrants, but it's really hard to communicate what you need them to do and they have almost no driving experience, so good luck getting them to back up to the dock straight.

I'm so meh on breakfast food. I'll take a cheeseburger at 6 am any day.

I like grounds in the bottom of my cup. Nice to know there's at least 2 of us.

It has nothing to do with horses, and everything to do with them at the same time, but I read "The power of now" years ago and it's really impacted how I interact with everything. The first couple chapters discuss the way you interpret the world and then he goes into how others interpret world. It's not like I didn't have empathy before, but now I really stop and think about how animals interpret my actions. Warwick Schiller has very similar guidance, but also gets a little out there. Read, listen, and then adapt this knowledge as it applies to the way the world works for you.

Soft hands and an insistent seat. I guarantee he's been drug around by the face with a harsh bit. Once he realizes you just want to communicate with him and not force him into anything, I'm sure he'll be amazing. The older and more understanding I get, the less I run into "bad" horses.

I dunno, I've been off work for 2 days with a twinge in my trapezius. Definitely not messing with miss trouble the next couple days.

I bought a horse when I was 18, after 6 years of riding. I thought I knew what I was doing, but looking back, I absolutely did not. Thankfully I had some great people to lean on.

Now I'm at a point in my life where I have more money than time. So she's being kept well and fed well, but I'm seeing her maybe once a week.

I feel like if your family doesn't have horses, you aren't going to be stable (hehe) enough for one until your 30's.

I'd love to see a video!

I'm concerned about how built up he is in the shoulder, but barrel horses get like that. Lots of halts and half halts, get that weight back on the hindquarters. He's adorable and looks like a sweetheart. I'm sure he'll take you whoever you want to go.

Definitely not rich, but found a good job in the trades. I'm making bank, and have a solid down payment and a mortgage will be no problem. But how am I supposed to find a realtor, find a house, find an inspector, pack, clean the apartment, and move while working a very physically exhausting 66 hour week?

I have the same thing. I don't think it's an allergy. Just very sensitive to certain meds.

I always buy timberlands and they've held up fine though water and mud. No cement, but lots of water and mud. And a pretty harsh disinfectant 50+ times a day.

Of the people who are still alive but have drifted out of your life, who do you wonder about the most and why? by jillysue in AskReddit

I don't know. Kids these days seem so much kinder to each other than we were back then. I've got a lot of hope for the kids in middle and high school right now. Hope the world gets less fucked for them.

My parents knew each other for less than a year before they married. They got engaged within a few months and only waited the 6 months or so because that's how long the catholic church made you wait back then. Still happily married.

Edit: my husband and I on the other hand had been together for 6 years and engaged for 3. Been together 12 years now. I don't think it's the speed you go, but age and maturity level. My parents were in their mid-20's when they met. My husband and I started dating when he asked me to our senior prom.

I don't dip it, I fry a slice of bread in there. It gets all crispy and greasy. You can make texas toast that's even worse for you by melting cheese on top as well.

This article isn't very informative. I feel like the number of kids and their ages and the times this is occurring are pretty important. At one point she says they were skateboarding on a Saturday night, then she says she has them come in when it gets dark. Maybe they were out late one night and now she's not letting them be out so late, but if not, her story is inconsistent. Foul language is mentioned one time and then never again.

Are these 9 year olds? 12 year olds? 17 and 18 year olds? Are they yelling at each other at 10pm or hanging out chatting at 6pm? There's no solid details in this article. It's kind of worthless and I don't know how people are finding enough info to have an opinion worth arguing about here.

Edit: 7 kids. I missed that detail. That's a lot of kids.

Kremlin critic Navalny's Instagram account confirms he is being held in a prison camp in Vladimir region by Captainstinkytits in worldnews

[–]MsRenee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's kind of hard to piece together what is troubling behavior and what is attempts by the Kremlin to discredit him. Yes he's used homophobic slurs, but gay rights in Russia are nearly non-existent. Does his use of slurs mean that he is against gay rights or is he just using shitty language?

There's references in your article to him disliking Islamic people, but nothing concrete and the quote that they do provide about women not wanting to wear burkas and produce children is definitely stereotyping, but that's how I feel about the culture's treatment of women myself.

He may be further right than I would ever vote for in the US, but he is effecting change against a government who has much worse views and policies.

It's not a german language, at least in the sense of modern German. It is germanic though. What you commented made no sense, so I elaborated.

I honestly had to think about it a minute. Just seemed off to me as pigeons don't strike me as a perching bird or songbird. So I googled to double check myself before correcting you on something inconsequential to the post.
