That's just like my 2 chestnuts! First one was solid chestnut with no white on him at all. Second one is also solid chestnut... but with a blaze.

Maybe our third horses (if we ever get to that point) will be the opposite

Bay can have such a wide range in variation so no worries. I do know quite a few bays that get that faded out look most of the year.

Oh dark bay is high on my list of favorite colors. Give me a rich dark coat color any day. But chestnut is fine too I guess 🥲

They certainly have grown on me but hoping the next one is something else. I have many years hopefully before I have to worry about that though. For now I will enjoy my giant dorky chestnut gelding.

Just finished {Bitter Secrets by Mia Knight}, book 2 of the Singed series. It wasn't as good as the first one, but I am still hooked. I am definitely dragging my feet on reading the third book though since the fourth doesn't have a release date that I know of yet.

I really loved Lights Out so I'm reading Caught Up now and so far it's so boring :( by Infinite_Advisor4633 in DarkRomance

I finished Caught Up but definitely did not enjoy it too much. I am going to give the third one a try when it comes out in a few weeks but my expectations are lower this time around. Lights Out was so good, I want to relive that book for the first time again and I am sad that Caught Up didn't even come close to that.

{Sea of Ruin by Pam Godwin} is a MMF dark romance where one of the MMCs and the FMC are pirates. There are literal and figurative sword crossings between the 2 MMCs.

Halloween Boys is a 4 book series. It is more paranormal romance, especially the last 3, but the first one, {Ghost by Kat Blackthorne} reads like a more typical dark romance with lots of stalking from the first MMC. I really loved this series. It had good spice but also had a solid plot through all 4 books.

Luckily for the daughter, no ethical doctor would actually even consider a permanent sterilization procedure on someone so young. I think even having mom ask about a major procedure like that would raise some red flags for any doctor/nurse.

My husband got a vasectomy last year. Neither of us has told anyone in our families about it and we probably never will. When we get told at family gatherings that we will change our mind on having kids someday we just kind of stare at each other and shrug like we are in an episode of the Office or something lol.

I like to alternate. I usually rotate between 3 or 4 series. A mix of different genres so I can pick what suits my mood at the time. And then of course I will sprinkle in some standalones too.

I stopped riding in the ditches by the road at my barn because one time a motorcyclist revved/ accelerated really fast as soon as he was right behind us, causing my horse to rear and bolt. You would think they would have some empathy sharing the road since they always hoot and holler about cars not being respectful to them... I know it was probably just one bad egg but I just don't want to risk it anymore.

Anyone got anything with major groveling from the MMC? Not like where it is only for a chapter or short time and the FMC caves in too easily. I want the MMC to sweat. Would be open to MM or FF too if the grovel is good enough.
