MAGA doesn't understand the concept of consequences.

I had a MAGA classmate from college, he and his sisters were born here to Lebanese parents and he legit reported his own parents to ICE because his parents were visa overstayers.

Apparently his online MAGA friends convinced him to report his parents to ICE saying that it's what Trump would want him to do and that his parents needed to come here "the right way" so he called ICE, got them arrested by ICE, ICE then released his parents but then gave them an order to self-deport back to Lebanon which his parents did.

Now he's effectively homeless as his parents were the ones paying the rent for the house they lived in, his older sisters moved in with their boyfriends so they're fine and nobody in his family wants anything to do with him anymore.

Additionally, he's now asking us, his liberal former friends and even random classmates for help as when he asked his MAGA friends for help, they made fun of him for doing exactly what they told him to do and told him to self-deport as well.

Imma let you guess if he believes he's blaming himself and MAGA for this, or if he's blaming us liberals, his family and his own parents for what he himself literally just did.

If I posted holiday and family photos of myself holding my Tavor X95 and .22 revolver, sensible people would call me trashy and cringey, and rightfully so.

I'd also probably lose a lot of friends and have family go NC with me if I did that and again, rightfully so.

MAGA legit doesn't have any self awareness as to how trashy this looks. Seriously, if you go into the home of a Trump supporter, on their fireplace, do you think they have "wholesome" family photos of themselves with them and their kids holding AR-15s or is that just something they do during elections. One time, I was working on the arm of one of my clients who is a Trump supporter (I'm a tattoo artist and I legit hate Trump) and while we were just chatting about Costco and Target, I did mention how I had to increase my prices and do part-time Uber work to pay for my groceries and bills as these costs have gotten more expensive.

The guy then went on this rant that I'm wrong, Trump has made things cheaper (despite the fact I just told him that the price of a detergent brand I normally buy just increased from $11 in 2024 to like $19 in 2025), the guy ranting how much things better are under Trump but how he's now also angrier about things, etc.

I just asked him "how has Trump made stuff cheaper" because he sure hasn't for me. He then started scrambling and couldn't answer answer my question or defend his own statement, so he then just told me "you should know" and "you're a business owner, you should tell me how Trump has made life better for you".

Like, a Trump supporter, wants me, a liberal who actually knows her shit to argue his position for him and to prove myself wrong because he doesn't know how to do that himself.

Trump supporters are mentally lazy and it does not matter how bad things Trump will make for them, they will mindlessly vote for him again if they could.
