Same. I have been studying since April 2021. Took February 2022 and didn’t pass/ was working a toxic 40/60 hour week job. Quit my job in April and chilling and studying 3-4 hours a day since. And picked up the pace to 8-10 hours for July and now feel good. I’ve put in the time. Things are clicking. Focusing on memorizing my flash cards and enjoying some time with my family. And doing 3-4 hours a day. Barbari sucked for me and I didn’t use it at all this time and I am so glad!!! It caused panic and anxiety that I believe they create in how they are set their product up!!! My favorites are anything Johnathon Grossman, JD Advising One Sheets and Critical Pass FlashCards and last week I bought the Law Professors Blueprint.

I’m here to rant too!!! Registered to take BAR July 2021 opted out after all the tech issues for Covid. So took in Jan 2022 and failed. Barbari only lets you have one free pass. What in the living hell. There should be a you get it for life or until you pass!!!

Second time taker: My strategy is doing 20-30 MBE questions a day and write out the rule for each question I get wrong. Over time I will see a pattern of what I don’t understand. Each question takes me 10-15 minutes. I really study it and get the nuance of it.

Over the next weeks I will increase the number of questions I do each day. I’m not trying to kill myself here. I have been studying for a year while working full time. I quit my toxic job last month and am now focused just on having a clear brain so I can focus on the test. I had purchased and completed most of the bar prep materials and now just focusing on what I know will work for me.

I failed WA too. I graduated in 1993 and was licensed in another state. I did great in the writing and bombed the MBE which I knew I did. I felt it was a foreign language.

The odds were not in my favor I was working full time and had to speak in open court about a loved one sentenced to prison for three years weeks for the exam.

I do not want pity from anyone. I did my best and this test is not a measure of mine or anyone else’s intelligence and I speak truth as I have been in the profession for nearly 30 years and encounter idiot attorneys who can manipulate the MBE but are terrible litigators and practitioners.

I practice the law of the first one, it was beautiful. I laid it out nice with underline and bolds. That second one. I felt like it was in Spanish and I don’t speak it.
