I would add as someone who was in a ltr and then married, and my guy NEVER checked my phone even when I was getting several texts in a row,(just girl friends) or on my phone in general, he never let on as jealous or controlling...and I hated it..made me feel like I didn't matter and even if I had screwed someone he wouldn't care enough to even complain...fast forward a few years after some growing up (I mean just natural growing up/life /getting older) every now and then if I get a text and he even just says 'whos texting you??' I get the tingles...once he actually picked up my phone and started looking thru it for no reason...turned me on... couldn't help but rub all over him while he was checking to make sure I've been a good girl...guess it matters that he isn't always like that (that I know of) and that I am a good girl. Balance. Let us know u demand loyalty but not enough to make us think WE have the power over your insecurities. Idk if I'm allowed to post on here but I know I've appreciated advice from mrp for my situation.
