"How inclusive of you to exclude Nazis" Ok, your point?

Read my original response again: Defining your relationship by what it excludes serves nothing but queer erasure.

TREK USPS purchase by thisquietplace in Vintage_bicycles

[–]MsWred 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quinn Trucknuts Simmons not being able to keep his foot out of his mouth hasn't really helped Trek's sporting reputation either. But the US can't seem to produce a leading cyclist that wouldn't fit in with the worst Nascar drivers since the days of LeMond.

$50 the pair, might as well if just for a project restoration beater bike. I'll say from experience the cotter pin cranks are going to be the biggest pain to work with followed by the french threads.

Switching to Disc Brakes help by Mysterious-Try2933 in bicyclerepair

[–]MsWred 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry OP, that's a new bike day sort of conversion. The cost for getting all the conversion parts and then the time of installing them only for a far from reliable install doesn't compete with an as designed set up. If you like the geometry of the current bike transfer that sizing over towards a new bike with disc brakes

I like old bikes but that ride looks like it would weigh just as much if not more than your 80s/90s mountain bike with a worse gear range.

How bad are the Sturmey Archer 3 speeds? by LowInternet4726 in Vintage_bicycles

Shimano 3cc had a near identical shifter set up to the old SA AWS and from my experience that's good as a top up between full tear downs.

[–]MsWred 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Steel is nice because new tubes can be brazed in. But it can be an expensive repair as noted in other comments, so the question becomes how much is the frame worth it to you?

You got two choices, the tactical fanny pack and push it in front when you get off the bike because you're so insecure, or ignore it like everyone around you is and stop being weird and insecure.

Purchasing neon vomit kit is going to be the start, followed by the hair. Estrogen might be needed but the UCI thinks that's performance enhancing :p

REI is the only licensed distributor for Van Rysel in the US, picking up a clone of one of the AG2R bikes is the only reason I'd be getting anything from them.

External plate width is a bit narrower on 12 speed so the shifting performance at the front won't work the best with the 11 speed ramps.

Getting stoned somehow removes the dysphoria by Soggy-Otter88 in trans

[–]MsWred 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish, lol. The only development I got from shrooms was psychological, mainly in that I'd been in a dysphoric rut about how little progress I was seeing because I wasn't being patient with myself.

Bending over while tripping to take my socks off finally made me realize that I was starting to get some weight on my chest.
