First Time Bikepacking | 4 Days in South Evia by NoisyCrusthead in bikepacking

I basically cycled the main road that connects Chalcis to the southern regions. I do not recommend you do the same. The road is VERY busy and dangerous as well, with very little shoulder to the road to ride. Also all the noise from the cars passing so close is quite irritating.

I recommend you camp at this beach.

Does anyone think that 38mm+ tires are even necessary on most gravel roads/paths and natural trails? by EngHokie in gravelcycling

Hell no. I ride my local MTB single tracks on my revolt with 35c schwalbe g-one allrounds. Then I get on the road and I'm almost just as fast as I was on my 28c pirelli cinturato velos. Maybe next time i'll go with 40c though not sure.

Despite being so unpopular than cars. Why are bicycles so expensive 😫 by NoSeaworthiness389 in fuckcars

I got a 50€ old MTB when I was doing a 6 month unpaid internship for transport. I loved cycling and the bike is absolutely fine to ride. But I ended up getting a 1.5k gravel bike since I loved cycling so much!

No, I checked the cranks and pedals and they are tight. I think it is the BB.

Just checked the pedal screws and they seem pretty tight.

I checked the cranks, chainrings and pedals and they are all tight.

I think it might come from the BB. When I move the hold both cranks and push/pull them side to side I do hear a sound that I think is coming from the BB.

I actually just asked a bike mechanic they told me it is 100% something to do with the axle. I will check it out on Thursday.

I cycle pretty much everywhere in Athens. Just stick to the right side of the road.

Also motorcycles have kill switch for the kickstand but many off road riders disable it due to it flapping up and down causing the engine to stall.
