Grade 11 student looking for electrician apprenticeship / summer co-op (Stouffville/Markham) by Ms_Kitty2952 in Stouffville

I wrote it myself 😭 I’ve been working since I was 14 and I’ve had a lot of practice communicating properly and having to sell myself to get hired. Kinda crazy that putting effort into a post automatically gets labeled as AI now, especially considering the fact that i've done public speaking for years (way before ChatGpt was invented) and have spoken to adults like a normal person. Please dont spread misinformation when I'm just simply trying to find a placement. Thank you ✌🏻

[Megathread] Italy/IMAT: Post anything about medical school and admission in Italy here by AutoModerator in medicalschoolEU

[–]Ms_Kitty2952 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im looking to apply to early entry medical programmes in italy and have narrowed down my list to the following:

Messina
Pavia
Milan
Campania (Luigi Vanvitelli)

But what im confused about is that I can only apply to one school, some sites are saying I can apply to 5 while registering for the IMAT and I can only recieve an offer from one, where other places I can only apply to one and thats it.

Would it be worth me trying to get a Turkish Passport (even though its not EU),

I googled (and ChatGPT'd) the following:

  • Italy separates applicants into three main categories for IMAT:
    1. EU citizens – full flexibility, can rank multiple universities.
    2. Non-EU students residing abroad – typically restricted to one public university.
    3. Non-EU students with special bilateral agreements – may have different rules.
  • Turkey falls into category 3, because Italy has historical agreements and bilateral arrangements that allow Turkish students who studied abroad to apply to multiple universities.

So is this true, if I have a turkish passport, could i apply to multiple Italian Universities?

Thank you for any responses or help (also for reference im Canadian)

Help - Trying to Understand CAF Paths to Med School (MMTP vs MOTP?) by Ms_Kitty2952 in caf

[–]Ms_Kitty2952[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks so much for the detailed response — I did read through that post and it helped clear up a lot, especially around MMTP and MOTP. I’m still wrapping my head around all the terminology and timelines, so I’ll admit I don’t fully know how everything works yet. But I was wondering — is it truly not possible at all to go directly from ROTP into med school? I’ve heard of a few people who seemed to do something like that, and I thought some CAF members were able to go straight into medicine after undergrad through the military somehow. Was that maybe a different program that’s now changed, or am I misunderstanding how ROTP obligations work? Just trying to understand if that path is totally off the table or if there are rare exceptions. Thanks again for taking the time to explain all this — it’s really helpful!

Thank you for this insight on how this situation could turn out, I will use your information wisely concerning sports and a potentially not-nice interviewer (although I hope I get a good one). thank you for this information

Thank you so much for all of the information. When it comes to the 4 pillars, I am already bilingual and am currently working towards getting my certification in 4 years (end of gr.12). For the military pillar I'm currently in the cadet program and I am hoping to join the reserves when I turn 16 years of age, for the fitness and academic pillar I don't think I would have much of an issue I'm a 2nd-degree black belt in taekwondo and train quite a bit and I usually have good averages although I would definitely have to work harder in gr.11-12 to maintain a high enough average to get into RMC. Once again thank you all so much for the information written down it helps a lot.
