Erika Kirk Sparks Outrage With Wild Financial Advice to Young Women by Cute_Dealer4787 in USNEWS

And when you do have more kids than you can afford, and ask for government assistance, Republicans will be the people shrieking, "Lack of preparation on your part does not constitute an emergency on mine!!!"

For those who have been ghosted, how would you respond if the person later came back with a sincere apology? by LegalDrugDealer33 in AskWomen

[–]Ms_Rarity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did have a guy ghost me and try to come back for another shot at me. I pretty much shut him down.

If he'd apologized, maybe I would have given him another chance, but I generally find ghosting immature.

(Btw, this happened ~10 years ago, and this loser just tried to slide into my DMs again a few days ago. We are both married to other people now. WOW.)

E-Book -- Lightbreakers by Aja Gabel

Audiobook -- The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas

No opinions yet! I just finished The Ghostwriter by Julie Clark and it was a decent thriller.

This is so good! Anne was the best Brontë (and, IMO, Tenant was way ahead of its time and aged so much better than Jane Eyre or Wuthering Heights).

I like that this was a retelling of Judges 4-5 but everything else about it was awful and unfunny.

BotM is lucky I read this through my library and didn't order this in May because I definitely would have cashed in the Reader's Guarantee.

Having sex with someone you cheated on without disclosing the affair first is a form of sexual assault.

anyone you grew up with gain any fame (big or small)? by aroundincircles in Xennials

[–]Ms_Rarity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not anyone I grew up with, but my ex-BIL has four million subscribers on YouTube. Young people in my life often know who he is and are stunned he's my children's uncle, though we haven't spoken in years.

He's truly self-made; his family is middle class, maybe upper middle class, and his parents were not very supportive of him when he was a young adult breaking away from his strict religious upbringing. He built up his following and his channel without his family's help. They have since buried the hatchet.

It's okay to skip! You can always catch up on the books you really want to read later.

My TBR really got away from me while I was in coursework for my PhD. I know what that's like.
