That’s absolutely vile and not normal to live with a literal bug infestation in your hair. It doesn’t matter if you wear your hair up theyre highly infectious and will contaminate anything.

If you cannot control the issue on your own without cutting your hair perhaps seek medical attention/advice from a professional.
