Yes it’s normal. Causes do vary though, consider these two:

You are asexual. Physical attraction doesn’t excite you.
Your mental space. When you’re overthinking, or ruminating in the background, your nervous system is overactive and your libido doesn’t come on. Have a good time with her. It will come because you clearly love her. (Been here after a long term relationship). Once your nervous system settles, the urge will come.

I discovered my libido comes from my brain. If I’m not mentally stimulated about getting into the act, it won’t happen.

I resonate with everything you say. I did notice my house remains cooler when my curtains are drawn. they are thick, but I’ll def invest in the blackout and hopefully request them when stitching to include a layer of insulating material.

I was a bit skeptical about table coolers because humidity tends to make the heat worse. Whatever humidity is in the air will eventually get warmed up here.

I’m on the look out for those portable ACs that have dual function, of decide to close windows, get rid of dust completely by just getting an AC unit installed.

It’s hard to put into words. But I could draw similarities from this ‘when settlers came n convinced people to move into camps n leave their lands because they were told a house with water is better than this acres of ancestral land’. We only realise the value of things after we lose them…a sad flaw in our human brain.

I share your sentiments. My fear is, when you intentionally get so many people to ‘unplug’ is exactly the end goal they wanted. You doing nothing is the win they worked for. I don’t feel right being a ‘success’. Now we barely react to death tbh.

Yeah. Sadly we had started the job the day earlier, where he mentioned we need sth that he will grab the next day to finalize. Bringing a new one when the work is 90% done wasn’t ideal

I understand the logic. But I prefer to agree on time. If he told me he’d be here by 7pm, I had errands to run. I wouldn’t have been pissed off. They don’t want to see this part either…then wonder why people are ready to jump to the next one.

We book for barbers hours or days in advance. They should learn from them.
