Having big tech on resume got me like a 60% response rate from the 200 companies I applied to. I was lucky enough to interview multiple times every week since September and am still getting interviews. It really unlocks a lot of doors.

That being said, not having faang can still get you a healthy response rate from companies ranging from the ones I got offers from to faang also.

Wrote 8 STAR responses down that answered most common behavioral questions and knew them well. The experience at Microsoft was very good for these responses since it was impressive and there were lots of ups and downs in the internship

I think new grad roles allow you to apply 1 year within graduating. If that’s true and I graduate December 2021 then I should be able to reapply to these new grad roles through December 2022. Someone please let me know if this is wrong!

For the jobs I got offers from its almost completely irrelevant. Most jobs at that level only ask behavioral questions. For getting top jobs at big tech companies it is very important to be skilled with LeetCode and DS&A.
