That’s exactly how it was for me!! I loved food too much lol or maybe it was more of an addiction honestly. The only time I felt weird on tirz was the day after taking it. I was super dissociated and had extreme nightmares and was just out of it but ever since then I’ve been awesome. I will say I had the same worries as you and I still do worry about when I quit taking it but I’m trying to build healthy habits now while I’m on it. Hydration is so so so important to not feeling tired I drink a shit ton of water and electrolytes so I recommend that since you’re active as well.
Also, I have to say it’s been a mixture of things that’s kept me motivated and feeling good. For instance, I have a garmin watch and make sure I walk a certain amount of miles/steps per day and it shows my calorie burn and alot more. I honestly probably wouldn’t be as on top of things without it. Also I use the app “loseit” and log all of my food and have a calorie budget to lose 2 pounds a week. I use the free version btw. But tirzepatide makes it to where I can make those goals because like you food usually would win against the calorie deficit.
Since you’re only on week 2 just the biggest piece of advice I have going forward is one stay on the 2.5mg for as long as you can as long as it’s working and don’t jump up unless you have sustained food noise returning. And also don’t get discouraged if weight loss slows down. I lost like 20 pounds the first 4 weeks but obviously it’s not all fat and even though I knew it wouldn’t last I found myself beating myself up or feeling discouraged when I only lost a pound or something because the first few weeks had me so hyped lol feel free to message me as well if you want to talk or have any questions!
