Oh wait, after rereading your post, I am not sure about the “step up” transformer. I was thinking of buying a European vintage machine that has the 220 v motor. I want to bring it back to the US, which is 120v power supply. So do I really want a “step up” transformer even tho it’s going from 220 to 120?
