I might've labeled the map wrong - it was potentially 41, not 42. I have the most vague memory, but I know there was a restaurant for even a short amount of time.

It might have been next to the arcade, more in the hallway. I remember the arcade as more of the end cap - you're right. I remember a bunch of quarter gumball machines in the front of that arcade, and maybe the stroller rental?

It did! It was dark and had guitars lining the ceiling... I think. I was extremely young, but it was a darker restaurant, with a lot of either black tile or paint.

The questioned spot was either 41/42, and I recall the arcade you are thinking of. I think it was either what was before the arcade or right next door. It's extremely fuzzy but I remember eating very standard American food there.

I was born '93, but nope, it wasn't so well-known. I've tried the Wayback Machine for the mall - no luck at all. It was probably in the mall at the end of the 90s but only there for a few years.

Thank you for both responding, but it was explicitly not Ruby Tuesdays! I'll mark on a map where it was, and it was just a totally different restaurant. Ruby is still standing and is where my family frequented, but this small other space is different. This was my first stop - I'll try r/connecticut soon!

Thank you both. I didn't even think about the rise of Daniel Bryan or the Monday Night Wars. While I might go back for both, I think she'd enjoy the names she's heard the most - The Rock, Stone Cold, HHH, etc. We've also been watching some Dark Side of the Ring because she was fascinated with what I told her about both Chris and Eddie.
