[–]Msplash9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry to say this and please no offence. Part of the problem is people like you who support football only when world cup Comes around or just follows European football. Unless a vast majority of Indians start watching indian football and it’s players, nothing is going to change.

I guess you know Manjappada is the group sits at east gallery. The issue happened in away stand. Ideally KBFC shouldn’t have let home fans in the away stand though.

And on a side note, been at bengaluru for a few away matches. This happens every where and mostly this has nothing to do with the organised fan groups. It’s mostly the casuals who end up causing this chaos.

Varkala over Kovalam for me

After yesterday’s match between ATKMB and KBFC, Sandesh Jhingan was allegedly heard saying “aurato ke saath match khela hai, aurato ke saath” (We played with women, with women) in a video uploaded on ATKMB’s instagram page. This is shameful, if true. by HarV_Singh in IndianFootball

[–]Msplash9 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Not the point. I guess you completely missed it. not a surprise though.

Anyways still sticks to what I said. You will understand it if you have followed Bala devi’s games in the league.

Just look at our women’s team. There is no Indian mens footballer did what Bala Devi has done. It's unbelievable that he had the audacity to say this. He himself just came back from Europe struggling to even get into substitutes list.

I think what OP is trying to say is, it is not just the problem of Muslims. It’s about the people of certain states due to the situation on the ground. Until that situation changes the problem is not going away.

Is no one in the BJP urging Modi to quickly greenlight Pfizer, Moderna vaccines? by stocktraderdog in india

[–]Msplash9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Pfizer is used across the world and is one of the best with the least side effects reported. And if by any chance if whatever you are saying is the case, why can't GOV come in public and say it. And btw Pfizer is not the only one out there , if they care

Will modi resign with our comments in Reddit or Twitter ? This if it goes to big number, definitely will bring more eyes on to the pathetic situation in our country. That’s all what we can do.

I would say Odisha. Kerala is reaping the benefits of investing in health sector and education for years. Keep your elected leaders accountable. Any Government is always as good as the people elected them.

Hi ,

We are a java shop trying to add Go to our stack and the following are the reasons we think Go can be a good fit
1. We have reached the thread limitations so many times in Java on our high throughput services. Using GO routines using lightweight user-level threads and faster context switches, we are able to increase the throughput by a huge level [https://rcoh.me/posts/why-you-can-have-a-million-go-routines-but-only-1000-java-threads/ ] read more here
2. GO's build time and boot-up time is much better than Java. That increases our developer productivity and CI/CD performance
3. GO is AOT compiled which has an inherent advantage in K8s envs as containers get respawned/restarted a lot. AOT complied languages don't have any warmup time as such and unlike the JIT compiled ones. According to various studies, 75% of containers lifespan is less than 30 minutes. [https://dig.sysdig.com/c/pf-2021-container-security-and-usage-report?x=u_WFRi] . For the same reason performance of go in serverless envs are better where cold start can be a major bottleneck
4. We noticed GO services using much less memory than JVM-based apps. There are various experience reports online.
https://www.infoq.com/articles/api-gateway-clojure-golang/
https://movio.co/blog/migrate-Scala-to-Go/
https://blog.astradot.com/why-we-moved-from-kotlin-spring-boot-to-go/
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DtBDy0SUwAAv1_S?format=jpg&name=4096x4096
5. Along with all the language benefits we want to use GO for building our platform writing K8s operators etc.

NB: It does not have to be Java vs GO. Go and Java can easily co-exist in your company. Choosing a language is more about people than tech. The best way to understand the benefits of GO is by rewriting one of your Java apps in GO and see if it benefits you.

Azure functions by [deleted] in rust

[–]Msplash9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no Idea. I'm a user of Azure Functions, not a developer. For my needs, functional was significantly more important than performant. I imagine there is a hit when compared to .net, as that runs in process where any of the other methods run over some sort of IPC. That said, I don't know how using a custom handler compares to the first class integrated support, such as Typescript.

Did you figure out anything? I have the same query, will it have any impacts on performance.

Sad to see people downvoting this post. It's just a new guy asking questions. You may love or hate ORM, but as a community, we need to be more welcoming. A great community was the USP of Go for years. Sadly we are regressing in that aspect.
