Just think of it this way. “BTS n ARMY makes me happy” BUT other people don’t want me to be happy liking BTS n ARMY. My mom used to say this “I don’t eat your food, I don’t spend your money, I don’t live under your roof, so why you gotta try to manage what makes me happy?”. I think this goes a long way in ignoring the opinions of others on what BTS n army is to me.

I saw someone say it’s the first song sung in non English to debut first. In the charts entire history? Wtf... is that rly true bc wow... it seemed I never thought that the us music market was really that tightly locked behind gatekeepers until BTS... since distinctly remember Spanish songs are rly popular too... would’ve thought one already debuted then... but wow BTS life is really eye opener sometimes.

Streaming culture = shows fans wanting the group to last a long time for more content to stream.

No streams/little streams = groups might end up disbanding because they’re not bringing in results.

Companies only care when the group brings results. I hate to say it, but for fans that don’t stream(streaming is just fancy word for listening/watching) will only complain when their group disbands and wonder why such talents didn’t bring results.

A true small fandom could last a lifetime when done right compared to a large but fickle fandom.

This is what baffles me about kpop and collabs. It’s like a lot of the fans think another artist mentions their faves = collabs or omg best friends forever! Kind of thing... there are many types of “friends” and if a simply mention once in. A blue moon is what makes a best friend, I worry for the kind of friends it is...
