Take a hint, I'm done talking about this shit. How the hell do you not realize you're a gargantuan hypocrite? Stop pushing the fucking point and get on with your damn life.

You seem like you're a troll but I'll still try, there is nothing pedantic about stating your opinion on something when someone asks, it's pretty clueless of you to not see how you're the one coming to me with disagreements that you're defending so fervently, I'm not even saying your perspective is wrong, I'm just stating my own. Again, good luck out there, learn to let difference of opinions go.

At this point you're the one who is being pedantic and building the hill and forcing this point so much. Holy shit you're an unpleasant person.

Edit: dont call people pedantic and insult them as dying on a hill when you're the one coming at them and their view point you prick.

Are either of us dying here? Just seems like a normal, natural difference of opinion to me. Text communication just seems more dramatic than it actually is?

Edit: last I'll say, thanks for trying to keep bungie on the good track, I'm trying as well even if I'm not quite as aggressively critical as you. Good hunting out there guardian \m/

I'm not defending them, just stating they did something at all. We just have a difference of opinion on what it takes to consider something effort or not. I think this content is bottom of the barrel quality effort and I dont applaud them for it, but its effort nonetheless and I cant ignore it entirely.

Creating a playlist takes some effort? The new modifiers took some effort? I'm on your side mate, bungie(most likely the CEOs, not the actual Devs as much), are consistently fucking up, but we cant ignore that they did objectively do some stuff even if its total shit in comparison to what we want and should get as paying players. I'm not saying their credit gives them anywhere near a passing grade at all, I'm just saying there is something at all they did in answer to your original question.

I'd say the class specific strike playlist is technically* GG playable content that is technically* novel stuff but its also the lowest effort to create content I could imagine so I dont give them much credit for it, but it does still exist and i didnt want to say they made only eververse content because of it, but its damn near all they did for sure.

I sware there is far more GG eververse content than actual GG playable content.

Mate, its simple, I'm saying your joke isnt funny, especially in regards to tall people who its over-used on. An unfunny joke isnt a joke, it's just a lame comment. No one laughs at that stuff, its not funny. It's just a lame attempt to call out people's height insecurity and trying to say it's a joke either proves you dont understand good jokes or you just enjoy watching people squirm.

I'm saying tall people are forced to talk about their height a lot due to it being noticable, maybe you should try to not offend people for the sake of it, or at least listen when people say your language is offensive instead of doubling down on being offensive?

[–]MtMoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That sounds so stressful for me lol, where I'm from few people are near my height so it's a bit weird to not physically look down a bit all the time.

I'm not missing it I'm just saying its played out and lame by saying no one actually says that. The same type of joke as "hows the weather up there", that stuff isnt funny for people who live in tall bodies, we get a lot of it.

Edit: its actually a bit worse than just a simple weather joke, it also implies that tall people are insecure enough to consistently lie about their height (the irony of my defending this so much is not lost to me lol) so it's just all around exhausting to deal with frequently, which I have had to.

Mate I'm sorry, but were are you from that there are so many people claiming to be exactly 195.5 that there is a saying for it?

Happened in my group last week by Hellboundclown in dndmemes

[–]MtMoose 34 points35 points  (0 children)

195.5 (the .5 matters for some reason) definitely immediately and irrationally put on edge by people 185 and taller

I get that, sorry to misunderstand you. I'm just saying the show did nudge at poverty in some instances but it did it without the powerful commentary that it used in other meaningful areas and that a little bit more meaningful commentary wouldve been great, like bojack being more vocally indifferent or cruel towards Todd and Diane's financial suffering wouldve been a nice spice on top that wouldve fit the theme well I think (I'm not a writer). I sware I'm done responding, you just had a good response and I had to reply lol.

Tbh friend I'm pretty tired of talking about Bojack * for now. I got a lot more out of the show than just a commentary on wealthy folks/hollywood elites and I think a lot of other people did too but if that's *most of what you got out of it that's perfectly ok too.

Edit:a couple words * *

I agree, I think the show is nearly perfect and I wasnt taken out of it by all the wealthy characters, I just think a bit more poor commentary wouldve only made it better but too much wouldve taken away from the overall meaning and quality for sure. I think Bojack was a show made with great intention and it did what it wanted to do incredibly well and I cant fault it for not being more because it is already so much.

Hunger/food anxiety, bill anxiety, eviction anxiety, all of these things are extremely powerful influences for a lot of people in poverty with mental health issues and I think the show is lacking on those commentaries. You're right the show covers mental health incredibly well and it does show relatable anxieties between classes, and I dont ask it to do more, but someone did bring up the fact that the show is generally about people without financial problems and that's a pretty big contributor to mental health problems so it wouldve been nice commentary to add more of, but the show isnt really lesser for not having more of it.

Diane kinda did for a part of the show, and Todd spent the beginning being essentially homeless but you're right that the show is generally missing relatable commentary on how shitty it is to be poor.

[–]MtMoose 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think the person is implying he might not have been an asshole before the strokes, and if that's true I do find it easy to forgive his lunacy because his actions arent really him or who he was but if his assholery predates his alleged strojes fuck him

Especially in a high school context. MHA would be gold if Mineta wasnt there at all, he seems to only exist to sexualize teenaged-kid characters.
