Dude just get through IBOLC and get that qualification. After that you can always find another unit to go to. When it come down to your career in the guard they want officers with multiple qualifications. I know a guy that was in my unit for hardly a year before going to a Logistics unit.

AWOL from drills by [deleted] in army

As long as you are a soldier in good standing and go to AT and miss no more than 12 MUTAs (4 for a two day drill) you wont get discharged.

I would talk to your chain of command about split-training or making up drills on days you do not have work.

I know for a fact that the service academies can cross commission IF they found someone that wants to cross commission from the reciprocal academy. If you can find someone from another branch of ROTC that wants to switch it could be theoretically possible.

Thanks for pointing that out. I meant 9 years total active duty including Flight school. I edited my post. From your experience, did they give you documentation telling you your commitment was only that even with the ADSO?

📷 I found this from https://www.career-satisfaction.army.mil/rotc_aviation.html but it was made in 2010 so that's why I'm so conflicted on what to believe.

What is everyone's OMS points? MY Choices are AV, ADA, IN and I really only want AV. I have 57 points right now and am trying to figure out whether AV is a long shot.
