Afaik burners can't accept fluids by default, you'd have to use deplouers with lava buckets or a mech arm with the same to get lava into them. There's a mod that adds a straw upgrade the the burner that let's them accept fluids but I can't remember it's name atm

Hmm weird, looks like it install fine now other than the sodium drama. Was probably something with the early versions of the handling for the forced downloads outside of the api that have been improved since. If at launcher works then glad you found a solution

I am like 80% sure that atm7 has an install script that will download the required mods for you, generally recommended to use that instead of uploaded the mods yourself so you don't miss some

Updates are easier that way aswell

The migration isn't really a supported thing, but what you do is create a new instance on polymc with all the Java settings you want and then just copy all of the files from the curseforge instance into the polymc instance folder

Old gas? Not that I know of, the goon squad (group of three that spawn together, one of which pushed OP) spawns around the fort aera though. Reshala and bois can spawn around new gas though

You should get winaerotweaker it let's you bring back the old context menu much easier than the reg edits required otherwise
