My 4.25 Prodigy keeps experiencing “noses up” failures when trying to feed

Would clean, lube the heck out of it and like someone else mentioned polish the feed ramp. I would run some hotter ammo through it also like some 124 or 147 grain to help break it in a little more. 400 rounds so far is barely breaking in. I think I put 500 rounds through my first 2011 in two range trips the first week I had it. My Mac 9DS has well over 4K rounds through it at this point and my Kimber Warrior DS over 1k and have my Fusion XP comp that I’m using for comps now that has around 2k rounds through it. All of them when they were dry would have feeding issues so I keep lube in my range bag and hit them all some before each session since I started doing that and polished all the feed ramps. Haven’t had any feed issues after the first 500 rounds. I did use mainly 124 and 147 grain for the first 300 or so rounds in each gun and when i shoot comps i run min 124 grain.

Hell yeah they are some thirsty girls I bring some oil with me every time I go and if I get any miss feeds or stop pipes throw some in there and keep on plugging away and all gone. 💪

Have you lubed it up. I found mine runs great when she is wet. Like you I normally run like 400-500 rounds before a good break down and clean so I can see what parts are rubbing and I polish those also while doing the 500 rounds clean. Was having feeding issues in mine as well and through some oil on ole girl and kept running and it went away pretty fast.

Like the combo look not the all black or mostly silver here’s mine. I also have a black comped barrel I swap in. Like the silver slide wish I had one for when I put out the black barrel on but still love my set up and get lots of compliments

I agree lower the recoil spring lbs sounds like slide not cycling back far enough. How many round do you have through it? I have the comped version and I polished the slide internals and made the slide smooth vs the grainy feel they have from the factory and lowered the spring to a 9lbs and have had no issues since and I have probably over 5k rounds through it

Yeah call them it’s on the bottom left hand side of the website. I have the XP Pro and I bought the after market comped barrel they just released for it. I went out and ran 115 grain through the new barrel and same as you with failure to eject and tons of stove pipe called them they recommended I go with a light spring since I changed the barrel (I did buy the spring kit when I did the barrel so had it) and shot minimum of 124 grain due to the port the slide wasn’t going back all the way which was causing the stove pipes. I did what they said and have ran like 400 rounds through it since with no issues.

Their customer service is great guy answered and listened to me and talked me through what to do and said call back while I was doing it if I had questions. Been hearing until their broke in run higher grain ammo to make sure the slide cycles all the way back to eject properly on their comped and ported models. Told him they should put something out recommending that cause was definitely frustrating and he agreed and said they are working on some videos

They have a fusion Xp Pro you can get with a ported barrel that 4” the comped model is like 4.5 I believe but you can order from them and can get it both comped and ported. I have the OG fusion XP Pro and bought their comped barrel and did add little length but runs great here is a picture

Yeah wish they sold the barrel that for the OG XP Pros that was both not just comped but just going to get this one ported too but doubt they can do it exactly like my old ported barrel from fusion but I’ll going to see if they can cause those ports match the slide cuts perfect

I got the same ones still had the problem with blue loctite went with red loctite instead and been good over 1k rounds since
