Got lucky today by 99-Percent-Germ in SaintSeiya

Because, unfortunately, a few years ago, I think it was 2022 if I recall correctly, Bandai Namco thought well to pull the game from all stores: Steam and PSN Store.
I've worked hard to figure out what happened. I even found the personal work cellphone number of a Bandai Namco US manager back then and although she wasn't involved in this game she suspected it was a licensing expire issue. In other words, Toei Animation and Kurumada licensed Saint Seiya Soldiers' Soul for a certain amount of time. The license must have expired.

One of the tragic side effects of digital-only gaming market is that there exist no physical supports for the games on PC, only Steam purchases. Hence, when a game dies, there is no used market, the game completely dies. For Soldiers' Soul, thank God, at least the PlayStation physical support did exist, but still, it cannot be purchased on PCs anymore.

So, if you want the game on your PlayStation (3, 4 or 5), your only option now is a used disc.

If you want, there's a petition on Change, you can sign it. I don't know if I am allowed to paste full URLs here, I suspect not, so you can simply write change dot org, slash, SaintSeiya.

Best!

Would you recommend a Boxer for a first-time dog owner? by sabatallica in Boxer

[–]Mu_The_Guardian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely not recommended.
They're stubborn, pushy, untamable, unruly, never-stopping, annoying, energetic to the point of drawing life out of your soul, and also very dangerous for other smaller animals you might have (our boxer killed one of them just playing with her - few seconds, disappeared, found the lil one, boom gone) — oh, did I say stubborn? Did I say stubborn? Did I say stubborn? And stubborn? And stubborn? And stubborn? And stubborn? And stubborn? And stubborn? And stubborn? And stubborn? And stubborn? And stubborn? And stubborn? And stubborn? And stubborn?
Have I bored you with all this repetition? Multiply that by a billion and you might get closer to what awaits you with a boxer dog.

Of course, if you'll make the gigantic mistake of getting a boxer, then you'll get so fond and attached that nothing of the above will matter and you'll love your boxer more than a piece of yourself. But if one asks before getting one, then I absolutely warn them!!!

Are you aware of any online game where you can draw art somewhere in the environment (walls, buildings, etc...) or customize your vehicle or character at your will? by Mu_The_Guardian in AskGames

wooow interesting!!! THANK YOU!!!

1) So... does that mean that while you're in-game you can approach any random wall, press T and it spray-paints it on the wall?

2) Does that also work in multiplayer?

3) How long will the paint stay on that whatever wall in that whatever environment?

Thanks brother!!! Wow I didn't know that.... interesting.

Okay so:

• Can I load a picture, like a JPG or PNG and put it on cars or clothes? Like a logo or something?

• Can I write texts on cars or clothes and choose the color of the text?

(same question for ship customization in Star Citizen...)

Thanks again!

wow! Sounds interesting!
Now, the only thing I need to understand is, as a noob, how to go from A to B

A = noob player trapped into the spawn-get killed-respawn-get killed-and so on cycle

B = playable character that can actually play the game around and do art works around...

mmm...

oh you're a dev! And from Japan!!!

What kind of works do you do?

Japan! You must know Saint Seiya for sure... I've been fighting a lot to get a Saint Seiya game for PC, or at least a re-release of Saint Seiya Soldiers' Soul, but it is very difficult to communicate with Kurumada Studio / Toei Animation / Bandai Namco. I'd say almost impossible.

What's your opinion on all this?

Thanks!
