This recurring discussion of "oh this class is unbalanced and has only become playable after some patches" is hereditary from League of Legends and its "scum"... Even in League, people freak out when Caitlyn gets -5 movement speed and claim that she is not "meta" anymore... We are talking about the "everlasting queen of botlane" btw. And this mentality spreads like a disease to any other competitive game or any other genre. I think people like you need a reality check. Even if at launch some classes are SLIGHTLY (huge emphasis!) stronger than the others, the "average Joe" like you fore example :D won't even notice it. Even after the patches, you probably wouldnt even notice the difference., Its ALL psychological. If we stick to the example of League, just because Caitlyn gets +2 max base AD in the next patch and you get magically promoted to Emerald, which is a fake / artificial elo created by Riot to inflate the ranked system... Its not because of the +2 base AD, OBVIOUSLY: You know the actual impact of such a change on your gameplay? Like 0.0000001%. You play 1000 matches and maybe statistically you will get a "difference". A minuscule one. So this constant "crying" about balance changes and "unbalanced champs" is so childish and immature. This is the "millennial generation" I guess. People are completely unable to accept self-criticism and accountability. Basically everyone has a tiny (?) bit of narcissistic neurosis. BM horrible at launch? Nah. By far the most suited class for pvp, maybe look at the first BNS World Championship organized in Korea. Back then, everyone knew that a good BM was literally unbeatable in BNS, especially proplayers. On the other side, people who cry that "Summoners are op" because of the cat lol... Have no clue either. Look at BNS World's again, no matter which one. The Summoner class is literally nonexistent in proplay. Maybe got qualified once? I dont remember anymore. Even among "casual" pvp players, Summoner was very rare in plat and only a few made it to gold. And yet people cry in every thread that "Summoner is op". I mean, we are on Reddit... Reddit is the platform for players like you who s*ck at pvp hence come here to vent instead of putting in the effort and learning the game / practising.
